Guys, here's an interesting idea. Nuno, think about it as well with a neutral view, not pro china one.
Imagine a collaboration between jieshuo and google, nv access and Zhengdu, where both of the chinese developers would be incorporated into google and nv access. Wouldn't it make great products of both?

Google will never be interestedi n collaboration, so this is out of the discussion.
ABout NV Access, they would steal our technology and kindly remove us from the project.

There's no need for it to be in play store. It has an auto updating mechanism, but the playstore version exists. I just don't have the link.

Although Zhengdu might be a good screen reader, I myself wanna test it, I don't understand this hate towards nv access. I disagree that they're thieves, and on my end I see no decline in performance with the latest updates. I'm a windows power user and nvda is the best performing screen reader I've ever seen.
Nuno, I'm not provoking you, but this pro china stance where everything coming from them is good and the west is always criticized can be problematic at least.
Instead of badmouthing and satanizing nv access, why don't you instead connect them with Zhengdu developers? If you already work with the chinese, connect them with the developers from the west. I'm sure that nv access is willing to collaborate. I'm not their ambassador, but as far as I've seen they will always collaborate if they see that it could potentially improve nvda.
I won't go into details why I don't trust chinese, politics is out of this forum.

Sorry, another question. How do you know that NVAccess gets so much money from those companies? I didn't know pretty much anything about microsoft, and the only thing I heard about mozilla is that one of the NVAccess founders is working for Mozilla now but that's all I know.

Damn, I guess I'm just ignorant. The link you provided just didn't do much for me, and when I looked at the partners page of mozilla, I didn't become smarter either. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I truly want to understand. But I can't! Why!

You read enough news, but it also matters where those news come from. Every side has its' own dedicated website, so if you read a pro NVDA site, you won't get the same details than if you browsed through an anti NVDA site. Same with politics I guess.

Oh, I didn't check the link yet so I don't know about that, but this harshness about NVDA shows that he read only negative stuff about it and didn't even try to use it because thieves thieves thieves bad bad thieves go to hell bad bad thieves.

OK, so whe n you are on the webpage I provided, look at their "finances" heading.
You will see that their total income is
$1,035,548.00
Then you will see that their expenses is:
$568,059.00
Subtract the first number from the second and you will get
468,489
That is their yearly income. Then you can expand further tabs to see the percentage of each type of income and you will draw your own conclusions.
Now to the partnership with mozilla

No, there are three options in CHina, maybe four.
Zhengdu, Sun Shine, Yongde and Baoyi, but Yongde are thieves, just like NV Access or maybe even worse.
I can tell their story someday so you will understand why I hold them in such a disregard as well.
No, Zhengdu doesn't earn that much, I can tell you.
See some time-tested software like Total COmmander, Everything, ETC. Do you think their developers are rich assholes living on their own bought islands?

Do you think that servers for hosting nv access, their online store for learning material, the computers on which they code and test etc are free? Plus, why do you think that mozilla helps them?
Exactly because of all the huge donations we do have it for free. Freedom scientific receives the same, even bigger donations and jaws is still paid.
I'm neither pro nor anti nvda, but I have a problem with China's model of influence. They can freely invest and do other things in the west, while none of the western countries can do anything in china. To be blunt, it's unfair from them.
Don't expect your bashing of nvda and labeling every organization which isn't run by your commies from china as thieves to go without reactions. We've had enough of state level communism propaganda in eastern europe for over 50 years. I wouldn't write anything here, but I constantly see this labeling of nv access as thieves, while no one says anything about zhengdu. If you want to be accepted, stop acting as an ambassador of China here. Hozosch gave a legit, neutral website.
