I'm afraid the percussion might be off-key but anyhow it sounds great.

Hay, well done. It sounds ominess as well.

Thank you. Yeah, I'd also say this sounds like something in between the dark melodies of techno and the beat of house just simplified a little.

There still are a couple of changes I want to make regarding the production, mix and so on but I like this so far.

I don't want to be the one again, but you need to listen to at least 8 beats of your production and should already notice that one of your loops is in major, and the other in minor. And they might sound the same, but they don't end correctly.

Thanks for the feedback. I went through all the clips and used the fit to scale feature of Ableton and no note has changed - are you certain? The only other factor is the chord device applied to the guitar and piano, but this also is set up to track the e major scale from the clip so it shouldn't be able to play anything close to a minor.

Generally, it's only about the ends of the piano and lead clips. The lead ends on the subdominant and the piano on the tonic, it is thing for change. And just to be clear, I'm not criticizing you to boost my ego, like some here, but it's actually audible a little dissonance, although in fact, looking at the correctness of the degrees of the E major scale, everything is OK. Unfortunately, it is not a one-size-fits-all, and not everything that is theoretically the sound of a given scale/key fits together. Everything else is absolutely OK :).
Edit: looking further, the dissonance generally occurs between the chord layer and the lead, but it is still the same thing, the lead ends on the subdominant, and the chord layer ends on the tonic.

Thanks for the explaination! Oh yeah, regarding that I've noticed it too actually, just thought it wouldn't be so audible.

Well... Everything in music production is... Uhm... Audible...

This is actually more of a test of the guitar that I had the opportunity to play a bit, but I like it. I recorded this a few months ago.

I love the reverb on that guitar as well! Though the strumming of the chords seems a bit aggressive at least to my personal taste lol. Not sure whether it's been recorded like that or that was the vision for the song, but you play really well.
