The first notes are F#, A# and C# which indeed do fit into C# major :)
-- (ArcticMoon):
Emm, from the very first note I hear it's not C major lol

Please read my post, I'm not talking about c major

It's still neither C nor C# major, but I'm not ready to teach music theory and hearing to someone who clearly doesn't listen and seems not to have ears.

LOL, you still can't tell me what notes are wrong though, all sharps are within C# major, as well as (I believe) c (or b) and e? So quit throwing around some super complex nonsense before you concretely are able to tell me what note actually is wrong. The only part where notes might be wrong is ruled by Ableton's music theory, would you like to teach it better?

can we not criticise him just because his ears are not that perfect?

I'm still waiting for a proof that the track contains notes that aren't in C#? All notes in the MIDI clips are within the scale, and the chord devices use scale degrees transpositions set up on the C# major scale, so they gotta be correct.

The root note is F# - not C#. I don't know how to explain it to you without the basic rules of building chords on intervals, in C# major there is the sound C, which would be a dissonance in this piece, because the interval of a minor second is a dissonance, and this sound does not occur here at all, so it isn't C# major scale, but F# major scale. Also, sorry, but several people here have already said this.

It is definitely F sharp, not C sharp, major.

Well regardless if it's in C sharp, F sharp, or what ever key it's in, I do like it. I feel like we all judge way tooo much.
-- (rudolf):
The track is in C# major :)
I couldn't find any wrong note in the harmony

I removed the auto tune from the vocals just to show you what I sound like without auto tune. I personally am very insecure about it so that's why I use it.

I came across a fallen tree I felt the branches of it looking at me Is this the place we used to love? Is this the place that I've been dreaming of? Oh simple being, where have you gone? I'm getting old and I need something to rely on So tell me when you're gonna let me in I'm getting tired and I need somewhere to begin

It'd be good to hear this version with the music so we could make a better judgment. I will say that it sounds much more natural this way though.

Well, I do like this song. I once heard on the radio in my Mom's car.

Yes, yes, finally. You sound much more natural without autotune. Maybe not perfect, but natural, and it is very cool. I'd be very glad to listen to this version with the music.

Seriously people, pointing out mistakes is not instant judgement.
If I posted my Rap here and someone told me I'm offbeat in a couple places, or could have a more lively delivery, that wouldn't be judgement, that would be feedback. Let's differentiate between the two.

Doesn't pointing out something imply that the person actually showed you what they meant? I eventually figured it out myself with AI, so that wasn't really something pointed out but a nudge.
