I think it's incompatible that's misspelled when I get that error about the 16-bit application.
Here's the message;
The program or feature "\??\C:\Users\User\Downloads\ToyMania_windows_installer_password_is_GreatCollector.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatibity with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available.
So, it's incompatibility that's misspelled. It should read:

I don't know if you saw in my very first message for the release, but the windows installer is no longer encrypted with a password. Also I updated both of my game pages, so it should work now.

I was just showing you what I got when I tried downloading from the updater, and the misspelling too of course.
I'll try it again from the bookmark I have.

So far this is a pretty neet game. My only issue is that after a certain point in the endless mode of the game, things start to lag in a serious way. I made it to level 17 before I had to quit the program.
I should probably state that in my most recent game, I got up to level 19 before it started to lag so much that it was practically unplayable. That being said, the lag started to happen for me at around level 13 or so I think. Kind of disappointing, as I couldn't collect all the keys I needed to get in order to pass through the door.

Hmm, I wonder why it lags for ya. It doesn't lag here at all, quite snappy and responsive throughout game play.
is there a bug in the code base or something that causes it to lag, or is it just yalls computers. IDK
I have no idea. That's...kind of why I posted my enitial problem...

OK. So it looks like lag seems to occur when there's a lot of stuff on the game board in endless mode. If I manage to keep guard and car numbers down it's not at all bad, but if I have, say, 10 each of guards and cars on the map, it can get a little hairy. Not sure why that's a thing, but apparently, it is. Go figure I guess.
well thats new
Edytowano
Hi there. The reason why it gets super laggy is because of the sound system not being able to cash all of the sounds in the pool propperly I think. When too many things spawn in general, it starts to get very laggy, especially when cars start firing bullets at you. In fact, that's probbebly what causes the most lag to be honest.

Also, I have know idea if it was this way in version 3.8 and lower. I think ever since I introduced projectile based firing with cars, the game seems to lag much more than normal for some reason.
The translation system also tends to lag in the game as well. I guess this update turned out to be a very laggy investment to say the least.
That would certainly do it. Is there a way that these issues can be resolved?
Hey this sounds fun! a little like The great toy robbery with some differences! I'll get it!

I'm trying to see if I could find a way to fix the lag.
