Oh, it's great. I love cookies with marmolade made of bean. It tastes really well and exotic. And falafel - vegetarian meal from Izrael and Liban. My favourite oriental sweet food is baklawa made of filo cake, honey sirop almonds and nuts. Yes, very sweet and wet, but interesting.

Yes, oriental food is great, yet I still believe that almost nothing can beat our good, Polish food:d
#23 Mimi
That's right! :)

Yes, everything but pierogi

Did you guys ever try true, traditional spaghetti boloneze?
It's quite popular in Poland, but I never really knew, is this actually how a true spaghetti BOloneze tastes?
Maybe it's just some Polish adaptation that I grew to lov somuch? lol
#26 Mimi
Yes, I did. It was in north Italy. Really delicious. One difference: more fresh herbs and autentic fresh olive. And in Rome, I tried real italian pizza. Thin cake. Very tasty. I tried with fish - salmon and fresh pepper mint.
#27 derrick
Yes, it is very common everywhere in fact. But in Lublin, where I lived for 3 years, there was a place where they made an axcellent one. Really spicy as I wanted it spicy and very well flavoured.

i'm slanovani, and i like everything that has to do with fast food, especially chicken pizza. i also love having rice with scrambled eggs for dinner.
#29 derrick
fast food is terrible. Good to eat of course, but extremely fatning. When it comes to pizza, I avoid anything like pizza hut and the likes. I prefer the sophisticated pizza, the italian way.
#30 slanovani
fast food is bad if you eat it every day. in my case, i eat it every other weekend.
#31 djsenter
The bad thing is, many of us are addicted to it to a degre of eating it at least a few times a month it seems.

Well, I wouldn't say I'm obsessed. I like it, but I don't have a problem having a longer break afterwards.
#33 djsenter
Hmm, i think i used the wrong word, srry.
I meant something less hardcore, hahah.
#34 derrick
I would not put pizza in the same cathegory with bergers, hot dogs and the likes. as I said before. At least not the home made italian one. They make good pizza in Poland and what I beliefe is a sacriledge, is when they put barbecue sauce on it. It's no longer a pizza. They try to copy pizza hut. Then ou have the chinese, indian, vietnamese food which I mentioned, and the kebabs. Well, nothing like a good big stake with chips and sallad.
#35 Mimi
I prefer pizza on the thin cake. Especially with mushrooms, fruits of sea, pineapple, and beef. They can be together or no. :) I like spicy pizza with interesting taste.

Okay, things get complicated here...
What do you mean by "Greek food"?
--Cytat (derrick):
Ilove greek food. anything related to barbecue. Chicken, stakes sallads when they are spicy. soups,of course. Living in Poland you haveto like soups, hehehehe.

Right, but you know, when something becomes popular, everyone is so interested to do it.
I don't specifically target anyone here in particular, because I believe you all have your own reasons for your choices; but Veganism is practiced mostly for no actual purpose.
--Cytat (thespyde):
It isn't the panacea people think it is. When meat isn't in the diet there are few options for getting digestible proteins. That's all I'll say about that. Vegetarianism shouldn't be forced on folks. That is all.

The main arguments I've heard from those who call themselves veagon have to do with protecting animals, and seeing animals as sentiant beings protecting the environment and so on. A healthy lifestyle also plays a part in that. Then people start debating which I don't get into, it doesn't interest me.

I also don't really understand veganism. In my opinion, it would be hard to find out food who could compensate that you lost if you are vegan. people need to eat various food and get various elements with it. Personally me, I'm eating what I want and even can't imagine that it could be different :D maybe if in future I would have a health problems, I'll stop drinking cofee with 3 suggar's, of course maybe it would be too late, but only then I'll think about it :D

Well, I like meatballs, kebab, and some foods called Mantı and döner in Turkey. I tried a Russian soup called borsch and pirimeni or what was it called I don't know. Both of them were nice foods. As for Chinese and vietnamese food, they say around here that they eat anything from bugs to dogs etc. But to what degree is this true I can't know for sure
