• I using goldwave since 2016 and can say it's awesome! Before I knew other sound editing softwares I did everything on it including mixing and editing vocals or tracks xD. It sounded bad, because of my weak knowledge about mix / audio editing. I still use it to process vocals, but mostly I do it with other programs. I use Reaper for mixing and creating music, but don't like this program and i'm still bad in this subiect despite all these years. Goldwave for everything else. It's much quicker to create a commercial or do batch processing with GW than with another apps. The only exception is Protools, which is great for me, but I don't have the right equipment at home. My GW knowledge i thing is that good so i can use it without a screenreader and do everything properly.

• 3, because this program in a lot of things sucks! I don't like this interface. Maybe that's something bat with me hahah. I'm just biased, I guess, but I use it because I don't have Protools in home.

• People have fun with it. Sadly my computer is at a grandfather capacity so yeah I didn't use it.

• 1, sucks, sucks, sucks in every things. Really it's herrible. A lot of bugs and things which not working properly. I have basic, very very basic knowledge about this program so if someone tell me to do something in it or i really need this i can try, but i can't imagine audio editing there. Anecdote An year ago I was looking for a place to do my apprenticeship. I called a local radio station and they said they couldn't take me on because they only had 1 heel active in the mixer and the reporters edit themselves on Audacity. I refrained from telling them that it's cclearly heardable that's the audacity xD.

• It's fun how at the others 2 you put 5 first and here 1. But I use it since I was 11, so yeah I guess I got too used to it at this point.

• I think, that some features may be better accessible. I think to new music features of new Audacity versions.

• think its pretty useful for cutting podcasts or stuff. not if you wanna make big stuff like sound design but it can be a good start off.

• Same as gold wave, though audacity has some advantages gold wave doesn't. I can say the same for gold wave.
