Music thread: Sing, or play on Your musical instruments or all together

Hi everybody! I'm going to upload something for you, but let me first explain what it is. There is a choir project sort of choir, which is a virtual choir. We all sing in our own homes and we upload it to Dropbox and it gets mixed in Audacity. And this is a group of 15 people and we've done one project that I took part in already. And that's what I'm going to upload. It's a round for spring. It's called, no, for summer. It's a summer round. It's called Laughing Laughing Laughing Summer Comes Over the Field. Okay, so I'll be singing another Greek song, but unfortunately I don't have the instrumental for this one, so I hope it's not going to be that bad. I mean, I'll be singing just without any kind of instruments, but yeah, here we go. I'll be singing just without any kind of instrument.

Uh, that was really bad. It just did not accept the whole thing, I guess. But, hmm. I don't know. I can't delete it now, unfortunately. But, yeah. That was bad. Anyways. I'll probably try to see if I can get things shorter. That's crap.

You're better off attaching a file or either that here or in the, what you call it, share your music non-voice forum. That's about the way to go, the only way to go here now in these time limits.

Yeah, the thing was actually, it's a file that was recorded, and I uploaded it, but it still didn't accept the entire thing, which is stupid, I don't know why, I mean, yeah, it's really bad that they have, like, a time limit or something, and at least they should increase it to, like, I don't know, but, yeah, I should come up with shorter songs, but, eh, that's, that's really bad, I mean, just the fact that you can't really put, and it can cut in the middle of things, it's really strange.

and usually it says attachment when there's I was talking to this anyway that yeah it usually says attachment when when I'm playing into an attachment and that just said media so it sounds like you just recorded it on the spot and when you do that it doesn't accept it in the voice forum it there's a time limit but in the share your music thread in the others forum that it you can attach something and it'll accept it all

Yeah, that timer has to be increased. It really does. For example, if you want to send voice messages, and some people don't really like sending billions of messages at a time if it got cut off, for example, yeah, they got to increase the time for voice forms. Just like before, you can record as long as you want. Now they really have a minute, so you really have to summarize what you want to say in the minute, or you want to talk other messages, or you want to talk at the same topic, but with separate messages all the time, which I don't like doing. So, yeah.

yeah that timer really needs to be increased however what you also can do is just attach a file like an mp3 file record yourself and attach it but yeah I get it like it's a frustrating process and yeah I agree and this music topic can pretty much go to waste because of the timer because some people need it

Yeah, I do agree on the timer thing, because really, the thing is, I did record it, I don't know why everyone just, I don't know why it didn't even detect it as an attachment. But, yeah, they need to really do something about it.

Well, the reason they introduced time limits in the first place was to make people want to pay for Elton so they could finance it better. And of course nobody does that. We all live with the time limits, however grudgingly, but we do live with the time limits. So that model doesn't work to finance Elton.

Well, what you said right there is true for private voice messages. Unlimited time for that is a premium feature, but I think someone else said this here in this thread. Time limits in the voice forums are up to the moderators to decide. It's not a premium feature. The moderators take care of that.

maybe for the voice forms you can add before you click on record you can set a timer and if this time is up it stops the recording so let's just say you set it for five minutes it will just record for five minutes and then that's turns off or you can set to never where you can record as long as you want that will be a good idea

So this is gonna be a request rather than a track that I'm sharing, but a track will follow, I suppose, if anybody here can fulfill my request. So I need someone who plays the acoustic guitar to record the following chords for me. F major, C major, D minor, and B flat major. And please try to make it match the following piece of drum solo. Note that I won't be caring about the tempo while playing that. I ask that you record the chords in both 100 bpm and 120 bpm, if possible, and send them to me privately.
