Absolutely, and the feature will probably be included in NVDA itself, so any add-ons that don't have automatic update checks will be easily kept up with. This is really neat stuff!

O yeah! Then I'm able to translate it! How cool is that! I'm a member of the German translation team since the end of last year.

#83

Wow, go you! I knew you were part of the Weather Plus thing, but congrats on the promotion, he he.

Thanks! :)

I think they also have a screen curtain addon as well. I'm testing it with windows 10.
My brother said that it turned off the screen.

#86

Screen curtain add-on, hmm, interesting.

That other add-on continues to get nice updates. One can now choose not to update certain add-ons, for whatever reason. Good stuff, Joseph Lee.

Yep, I've read about that screen curtain addon in the German mailing list of NVDA and was quite intrigued.

#88

There surely is a lot of community support behind NVDA, whether the screen reader itself or in add-ons. This, to me, makes it truly unique!

That proves that NVDA is a good screen reader.

#90

It certainly does, and its use is growing by leaps and bounds! Rock on, NVDA!

#91

Yeah. Nvda all the way!

Hello. I had lost my password, and logged on previously as the saint but I will not use it anymore since obviously, I found it. NVDA has made very good updates lately and it can be also used with elten as well instead of sapi 5 voices only which is of course, a plus. I wonder what freedom scientific thinks of NVDA?

#93

Hmm, probably irrelevant, just kidding. They, Freedom Sci, sure do change their name a lot, lol.

Orka in Belin (talking Linux), Talks in Simbyan, Voice Assistant and TalkBack in Android, VoiceOver in IPhone, and I know an other screenreader in Android - hmmm, i do not remember not the name of it.

#95

Commentary? That's one I've heard of. Not sure how good it is though.
Strange, Troubled Times...

#96

Which?

#97

The Android screen reader is called Commentary. That's all I know about it.

#98

O ok. There used to be shine plus, but it disappeared from the play store.

#99

No, no. Shine plus, I remember already!

#100

Yeah. :D
Good that it disappeared, haha.
