Are you sure that they don't want to spread? Xiaomi phones are everywhere nowadays, and other brands.
If they'd spread the technology, might the developers in the west could see what the chinese ones do different and thus make some improvements.

They share those phones because it's money for them. But they would never share the methods of how they built those phones and why they are so powerfull as they think.

No, they shoudln't. Noone gave it to them, they worked extremely hard for it and they deserve to keep it. Zhengdu will rise and continue to upgrade.

Oh, NV Access has support for Microsoft. They make stuff specifically for their ecosystem, including Office support. Zhengdu has to find workarrounds. Do you consider it fair?

Anyway why does zhengdu install a chinese something which the translator interprets as wholesale feedback? And why does it place a shortcut on my desktop on which you click and it wants to sell white canes in chinese?

haha, it is Zhengdu Yun, a helper software for ZDSR which includes RSS reader, music service, recording software, voice assistant (he can understand English) and more stuff. The fact you cannot uncheck it during installation is an error and it will be fixed.

It is not a shady tool. It is ap art of the screenreading software which can be uninstalled (a module in other words). The advertisements are madeb ecause of the good will of the developers, no money is given to them for this and you can advertise your product for free on the board

That's true that your efforts should be credited, because you are literaly the only person who tries to fight the barrier between the west and east. Hell, I'd even use this thing if it wasn't this kind of hard. Every screen reader I've seen so far could work with every kind of symbols I wrote or tried to read.
