So may I ask if anyone has Loquendo Dave or can somehow help me get it?

Thanks!

Hey guys, does someone of you have the infovox desktop pro v 2.2 with some of the old voices, like roger and larry, with all languages? I got a DVD crack from someone, but unfortunately, those old voices don't work, only the new ones that we still know from acapela tts today do.

nvda.ru should have what you're looking for.

Are you sure? I'm talking about sapi 5 / sapi 4 voices.

Can one not use SAPI voices with NVDA?
Will post the direct link if I can find the exact page. You may continue searching until then.

Oh well, this version of Gerhard is the weird one with loads of inflection. There used to be a version on www.realspeak.de which sounded different. But I can't seem to find it now.

Great that you found the voices. Came here to paste the link, but you appear to have handled it already.
Sorry, I won't be able to help with the voice Gerhard.

So comes another question from me:
Some of eSpeak's pronunciations I find really far from how they should be, and I would like to improve them somehow. Any idea how we do that?
I may also work to make my atempts incorporated into NVDA.

I suggest you to have a look at espeak ng on git hub.

I did, but couldn't get anything useful, probably partly because I'm not so familiar with its layout.

Oh, found it now.
Will look into it in more detail when I have time.

O wow, I'm seeing your issues now! I would be able to fix these, but I don't have direct access to the repository. I could do a pull request but I think the devs should get what you are saying, too.

Well, I hope I managed to comply with the guidelines...
I also have a bunch of suggestions for other languages including English, German and Russian.

German? Well I know that there are many things it mispronounces, but it's difficult with Espeaks system to do compound words. Or do you mean phonemes? Then you might like the sound in Espeak 1.44.05.

There was a fix I did once, but the majority of people disliked it, so it needed to be reverted.
