Speech synthesizers

To begin with, there is nothing wrong with asking your question here.
Now for what you were asking; here is my question, Are you using Windows 10? If so, you can use the narrator screen reader from Microsoft by pressing Control Windows Enter. Then press Alt S. You are now in settings. Find your way by using Tab key until you hear saying, "Add More Voices" and press enter there. Then you have to find by way of using the Tab key until you have found like, "Add and Manage Voices" and press enter there. You now have the list of Microsoft voices provided by Microsoft and the Russian language is included.
It's a little bit complicated but I hope all of this makes sense.

Wow, I tried it before but it kept lagging, but now that I did again, it works fine. Although I didn't need to use narrator, it came together with russian keyboard.

Would these microsoft voices work with windows 8? Or is it only available on windows 10.
#44 railwayguy
It's only available on Windows 10.
Microsoft only updated their screen reader since Windows 10.
#45 thespyde
Um, moderator, you probably mean download, not upload, voices.
#46 ArcticMoon
Browsed and read through all of these posts but I have no idea on what you're talking about, Thespide.

The one I'm referring to is this one:
Lately, I'm using Windows One Core Voices which come with the Narator screen reader from Microsoft. You can also use them with NVDA. These are the voices provided by Microsoft Windows 10. The one that I am using mostly is called "Mark" in English. If you have Windows 10, you can upload many voices from many languages.

He incorrectly said upload when he meant download.

Ohh. I'm sorry, I see the point now.

By the way, I also use Mark sometimes.
There isn't much variety in the Microsoft voices. The quality has also gone down, unfortunately, but they're still good enough.

As much as I'd like eloquence for narrator, either microsoft won't add that customisability or they won't add it as a downloadable voice because of all the legal stuff.
#51 hozosch
Well there's eloquence for sapi 5 by code factory. If you've got the money, just buy it.
#52 hozosch
Hi. Does someone have the snoopy botten dectalk songs in txt format? I'm particularly looking for "you raise me up". Thanks.
#53 destructatron
There used to be a good eloquence song out there actually, called if I only had a brain, I've been looking everywhere for it ever since klango went down and that cool song got lost.
#54 hozosch
Ah yes, I remember that. O yes, the one I was looking for was on Klango as well! I've got the klango archive on my mac, so I'll have a look into that later.
#55 destructatron
I don't have that, all I seem to have are all the klango sound themes.

Hi! Have you got any luck making it singing in nvda?
Every time I try to do it by myself I don't get any luck.
--Cytat (thespyde):
I have the version of Eloquence with auto-language support and it supports the back-quote tags for making
it, um, sort of sing. I like and use Eloquence a whole lot, but I also like the VW voices, or that's
what they show up on my computer as. Kate, Juli and Paul are those, and all are very good quality voices.

The variant is called male8, and the synthesizer shows up as speech player in e speak when you've installed
it.

Hey everyone!
So, I am using eSpeak for 10 years of using nvda. This is my most used tts for nvda.
However, I purchased vocalizer for code factory.
I use Markus for iPhone for German language, Tom for U. S. English and Katya for Russian.
I use eSpeak for Russian and English on pc and as I said Petra for german because I cannot understand eSpeak's German.
I also like iVona Marline for German, sadly iVona voices are only available in VoiceDream for iOs.
