Agreed. Zhengdu also has a lot of issues but we should all ignore them because it reacts quickly... Eh.
I don't know what I did to my Zhengdu, but when I tested 1.5, I screwed something up. At anyrate, I can't even start it now and yes, this Problem still persists in 1.6.
yes espeak was downgraded, i knew that from the arabic voice. In that version, they messed something up. I don't know why they're doing this with every beta1 release lool
can someone get me a folder of list of all tts addons that work with the latest version of NVDA? I want as many options as possible and I just likie using different ons every once and a whiel.
Hello, I would like to know if mbrola voices are also used in eSpeak-ng for NVDA? As far as I understand they aren't. If they aren't, I have an interest to compile them for linux and try out. I listened to some samples of mbrola voices on youtube, imho they sound much more natural than eSpeak voices.
Well, I can already answer to my question. No, mbrola voices are not included in espeak-ng for NVDA. I could compile mbrola for linux, it is the easiest compilation I have ever seen, and installed the en1 voice. Unfortunately, I couldn't use it with orca because of the unknown reason, but I will try to switch my virtual machine in English. The reason why I would like to try using mbrola and things like that is because I also would like to try out emacspeak. Yeah I know, it is a really old audio desktop, but why not to try good and old things out?
I usually use eloquence, as it sounds the best to me even at high rates of speach. but sometimes i use vocalizer. I don't like using sapi because it can get quite slow.
Does anyone stilll know a way how to get innoetics voices? I'd really love to have John to test him on a summary of a text I wrote for school. Acapela Peter's already doing an absolutely great job on it, and I'd like to see wheter John is his american counterpart. I heard him on a podcast Jake MCMahon did, and I really liked what I heard.
acapela peter is really cool. i have synthesized some russian cultural poems that translated to english by a genius person, but with a few not good words. if it is alowed to post it, i will post a zip archive with 12 mp3s
