I don't really understand what it means. Does it mean that there is a variant that's called klatt 6 that works as 1 speech player voice? -- (hozosch): NV Speech player is now part of ESpeak as Klatt 6. It hasn't made its way into NVDA yet, but I hope it will have soon.
As far as I understood eSpeak ng was downgraded in the latest beta of NVDA. I installed it to check if there are new voices there and also to check what's new in NVDA itself.
I've been wondering about something. Eloquence and via voice existed alongside each other for quite a while and are pretty much the same, although I think viavoice was longer in development than eloquence. I wonder which one came first. Does someone know?
I think it was viavoice, though I'm not quite sure. ot: It occured to me that when you said viavoice, I installed the zhengdu screen reader and there was a chinese loquence voice that came with it, but when I chose SAPI4 from the NVDA settings it couldn't load SAPI4. How to fix this problem? Thanks
Sorry it took me a while, I needed to think about that for a while there. Do you need it? If no, then I suggest uninstalling it. It came with Zhengdu, but shows up in your programs as a separate one.
