May I ask real quick which offtopic discussions you mean? I'm not really sure on this

In a thread about introduction, it's not really usual if people talk about other things than introduce themselves. Sausage stuff, having several nicknames, who is hot and who is not, agnet being trash or not. Better?

Yes, but how are you supposed to introduce yourself. Hi I'm a b c, welcome and done? Nicknames are also part of someone's person. Same with talking about their interests or joking a little. I don't it see it as an ishue really and it hasn't been going offtopic much either. But that is me. Don't want to have started a big discussion over nothing.

Yeah honestly I don't get it either. SOmetimes conversation just flows. If it's just an introduction and welcome, than that's just very dry and boring no?

Guys the problem is that it's not a chat, but a forum. In a chat the conversation flows. In a forum you stay on topic. That's it.

No. It's a chat in a forum. Basically the same. Really in so many places and other times noone ever mind a conversation even when it was really offtopic, not small things like this one. IDK just, ok?
And again. What, do you expect in an introduction. Chat, forum, you name it. I totaly get not being offtopic anywhere else but here, if we can't say something else then hello I'm Marc and I like music and gaming that's not just repetitive and generic but also boring and you don't get to know anyone.

On RadioDiscussions.com a topic might start off somewhere than zear into other things. It's just how it goes. Yes, it's all radio related, but that's the common thread there. I do feel that if you just say hey my name is john I like games and music, and that's all, that would get very boring., I mean don't most people like games and music? Or at least music? I think this is a bit heavy handed on the mod personally, but this is just my opinion.

I do not see the big deal here, nobody is stopping somebody else from introducing themselves, and in the mean time, conversation can happen.

I hate intro threads but here we go, since I am exploring around and wanting to find my way here.

I Was a member of Klango from at least 12 years ago with another username (brunordx), hanged a lot on Rock and Metal forums.

I love extreme and ancient forms of Metal music, got a generous collection of vinyl, cds and tapes, but recently I find myself more involved in the Sound System culture in general. Reggae/Dancehall, Jungle, DnB, to 60s Soul, Jazz and other crazy stuff.

I'm also a cryptocurrency enthusiast, expecially Bitcoin, Ethereum and Monero (not financial advice), audio and music production and, of course, technology.

I work as a quality engineer, writing test cases in Gherkin, performing automation using Selenium and Java, Rest Assured for APIs and, sometimes, accessibility tests too.

I am now in the process of learning Cypress and Cloud Computing.

Hey guys, my username is, as already seen here in this post, Rudolf. I'd like to change it, but there's already an account with that name, so it won't work, and even if the account didn't exist, it still wouldn't work.
I'm from Germany, I'm 12, I'm in the 5th grade and I have summer vacation in 2 days! finally!
I like chatting with my friends, playing different games, eating, and very rarely I go outside and go, for example, to a lake with my mother, or to the river that flies near us. There is also a restaurant where I like to eat.
As far as the tech stuff goes, I have an Android phone, a Samsung A72 with Eloquence. I have a gaming computer that is 6 years old, my uncle gave me. It has 4 cores, an i5 processor and 16 GB of RAM. I like to collect all kinds of things. I have a 465gb hard drive that is 90 percent used, which means I already have 420gb of data on my hard drive. I also have a 3.64 TB external hard drive that is already over 50 percent full (2.11 TB). I'm only a mether 50 tall and weigh around 45 kg. I have red hair and I don't know the color of my eyes. lol

Here are some more facts about me:
1: the first audiogame i played was a clone.
2: I don't have a favorite song. There are songs I like more than others, but there isn't one favorite song that I have.
3: I have never had an operation. I was only stitched once. I think it was 2019. I was staying with relatives. There was a pool there and I was playing there with my sister and my leg got caught on a fence. The doctor said that all layers of skin were severed, but nothing else happened. I was stitched with 5 or 7 stitches. Today I have a very wide and large scar and it is uncomfortable when someone touches it.
4: I have a game folder that is 50GB and I have access to another 70GB folder that is not mine.

I guess that's enug about me for now.

one sad thing i want to add so nobody makes those dad jokes or stuff, my dad passed away from cancer a few years ago, i was only 6 there.

Rudolf, how did you get tht high level of English when you were only 12? It's interesting to me.
