I rolled back to version 2.5.2.3 and it's working. I'm using the newer version of the add-on with no problems but 2.5.2.5 won't run on this machine either.

Windows version: Windows 11 24H2 I got server lags occasionally but not as often.

Something sound-related with Bass library, 2.5.3 Beta 5 uses newer Bass version.

I'm not sure what is new with Elton 2.5.3 beta 5.

I've set my program seetings to update to beta but I'm getting 2.5.2.5 when I check for updates. I guess I'll have to restart the program and hope for better results.

Okay, I'm running the new beta and all seems well.

On the latest stable and experienced this as well. Ran it with the program compatibility assistant and it now works fine. I then changed my configuration and it crashed again. Just checked elten_old.log but there we no details. The last entry is loading configuration.

loading configuration? Does it not save any old logs from the previous uses of elten?

What do yu mean? It saved the log properly, but it seems like it crashed when attempting to load and apply the configuration, I don't really know.
