a good AV that actually works?

windows defender let slip a malicious program when blocking actually legit shit.
anything that actually works and does it's job correctly?

Maybe nosource trading could work.
It's very accessible, you just have to get used to it which could actually be hard if you have blindy cloner installed, so maybe uninstall that first. Then however it's great. Fully accessible and you won't get any viruses that way anymore. In fact, it's the most accessible program out there, reason is that you don't need to do anything, it does all for you so you can sit around and complain.

LOL idk I've been using Windows Defender since 2015 and I haven't gotten a virus yet.

As much as I use windows defender, I add just excloosions and that's it.
But my main point is antivirus should be in your head, and always check files if they looks llike a virus

I use AVG, but the best antivirus is common sense — not downloading from fraudulent websites or source codes of clones.

I also use Defender with exclusions. I used Avast for a few months and can't say much bad things either. It just is very "sensetive".

I got too many false positives with Avast, and I hated the uninstallation process!

Avast didn't help you it rather prevented you from doing stuff by just randomly dinging around and wasting a minute of your life each time you opened an exe. Some of the stuff was kinda nice, but not worth it. Brain and defender do the job.

One of the ways you writed to protect yourself from world of source codes patricus definitely don't have, but I won't point fingers :P.

Avast is now inaccessible with NVDA 26.1. Can anybody cnfirm? Same goes for Norton. Eset also broke compatibility with 26.1.

I think that's if you have OCR addons installed.

I disabled all addons and still does not work properly, and with Jaws it does. Let me give you an example. I can only navigate using the tab key, prior to this getting broken I was able to use arrow keys and all as in a web browser.

Avast is still accessible to me, as is AVG.
