I'm also facing the same problem with AVg. I've restarted the pc, restarted nvda with all addons disabled, even ran the com registration fixing tool and nothing has worked. I can still get around with objecct navigation but I find that annoying. It Seems to work just fine with narrator though. Also, for some reason, AVG windows will appear and quickly disappear for no disernible reason, such as whenever I open new brave tabs and type in a URL or even just while I'm playing a game or using a normal program. I don't have any viruses to my knowledge and AVG's smart scan, and I've tried to change the settings regarding notifications and popups but it will still happen periodicly.

It has something to do with NVDA, not their interface. Before 26.1 it worked flawlessly, and with Jaws it still does.

Using Malwarebytes while I've got a free trile of premium. It's done a good job of cleaning stuff up and scanning stuff. It does flag plenty of false positives but I don't mind it much. The interface is a little iffy to navigate since I have to use object navigation to get around flawlessly but again, nothing that bothers me.
