Who considers whats insulting? On big mainstream communitys, the platforms don't cares if someone critises anything wich is not racism or anyhow strictly against rules, and this forum has no rules obvioursly.
I may remember that on big mainstream communitys, there is no single developer who decides and is like, uh I am going to just delete posts about a election for an new administrator, even though its influencing people to build opinions, wich obvioursly shows you take a side in that all. And, on big mainstream communitys, there is no statement like standwithukraine in the posts of developers.
So why comparing mainstream with elten, when its not able to be compared obvioursly and when you just get deaperinto the non sense?
How about keeping your word and create some kind of election if you want to do what the poll says instead of go around and fire the next discussion?

Deleting posts without any explanation is forbidden literaly in every mainstream community. I am not able to give any examples because it's easily the whole internet, except a few little corners.

I have thought about this topic for a long time and I will say my thoughts.
First of all, this thread has destroyed any chance of discussion. When off-topic posts were deleted, an uproar was raised, and when I stopped that, you have made such a dump here that hardly anyone is able or willing to read and analyse it. Instead of a discussion about the shape of the English Elten community, we have childish bickering, discussions about other communicators, programming and even emoticons. This is below the standards of any mainstream community.
The poll was answered by 115 people, only 23 have commented in this thread, that's only a fifth.

I have decided to hold a re-election. I will give specific details shortly.
But I, looking from the sidelines, unless something changes here, unfortunately see no prospect of rebuilding this community in a reasonable shape. Let's hope I'm wrong.

pajper, why don't you release the poll results and make a decision? It's mid february now. Instead of you keeping to repeat the same blabla over your post deletion again and again and trying to make a point, why not move forward? Btw, funny how you accuse us of always talking about that when mostly your supporters are the ones that resume old points weeks later.
