It's very pointless but since even it was a dumm one you actually replied with something, let me reply as well. I honestly don't think you actually smile for that in real life. The way it comes over is just bitchy. Thinking you are so smart with your opinions you can't pretty much defend and then putting overly many smilies. Now how do you think does it look like. Does it look serious, or that you can control yourself? I do not think so :) But just read your previous posts :) Probably you need those smilies to validate your point, but that doesn't work :D
Now isn't this writing I demonstrated quite annoying? Before you ask, no I did not quote you but this is exactly how it comes over. Idk why you use them or what's your attention behind this anyway but this is how it comes over, just bitchy imo.

Who's disallowing me to press a few more keys to generate an emoticon?
What is going to happen if I smile?
-- (marchoffmann):
When do you get bored of laughing and smiling smilies. And to be fair he removed that youtube thing. While I don't support stand with ukraine, he took action on the youtube thing anyways. So where is the ishue now. Everyone is on 1 side always.

Ya know, the worst thing is it's not me avoiding discussions, it's pretty much only you. So to this it'll probably just come an o I'm knowing everything better and you're not true reply

Lol I put my Emoticons off. So it doesn't even read all of those smileis xddd

Btw, Elten program looks like it pretends to be a fully functional replacement for everyday tasks; a forum, messenger, voice chat, blog and desktop organizer in one flask.
Something like Emacs Speak if someone understands what I mean.
And it is completely understandable if someone is get banned from some official community for their behavior or get banned completely from any communication in public.
But many people use Elten for private calls and messages, for those mini programs and utilities built-in.
And if @pajper completely bans someone from the entire program it looks like something too much.
Imagine if your cellphone provider would ban you because you said something offensive in private call to a friend or if your phone's ringtone is offensive against Ukraine or any other country.
Or imagine if some game would ban you by your HWID only for the fact you have said something offensive in game chat or forum.
Oh yes, for blindy games it is normal case. But for huge products like CS, Dota, world of warcraft it is completely not acceptable.
And of course if I had some friends here with whom i cannot talk elsewhere, of course i would create another account and at least try to send them some contact info for just to continue private communication with them by E-mail or Telegram or Discord.
Really, guys, think about it seriously! All your private calls, messages, notes are in hands of a single person with clear political position and with his own opinion which he is ready to protect in any situation.
He will not get punished for just banning you if he does not like you or your country. He can read all your private things including passwords, private audio recordings and other sensetive data.
If I would place such an offensive signature on Blizzard forums they firstly would delete it and set a placeholder about rules violation, because their goal is not to punish with a mighty banhammer but the goal is to make the community safer.
But here Pajper didn't apply any changes to protect others but immediately started shouting about a ban against me.

btw , ArcticMoon, the fact that you knew what his signature met proves that you would let people that you like break the rules, which doesn't really make someone fit for an administrator. You knew this when you were a mod and didn't ask him to change it, and neither did you tell pajper when you wanted to apply for admin."
#686 marchoffmann
I should probably create a configurations profile for that in elten hehe.

That's really true though

The only one here with the double standards is you, Arctic. How you can't graspthe difference between #FreePalestine and #StandWithUkraine as opposed to fuck Ukraine and Zelenski is beyond me. Well I suppose not, it can only be bias.

Why bring audiogames.net into this? Or do we bring all the drama of the net such as facebook, twitter, and everything else into elten? How strange.
-- (karmien):
@sightles wolf sorry to point this out, but didn't you say in agnet you aren't good at administrating and needed someone else to do it? Please, no double standarts here. Also it makes not a lot of sense to just throw your application in since we don't even know the system to use yet.

#690 khalil2009
what drama? he was just pointing out the fact that he said he wasn't really good at modding things on a nother platform, so what makes him better on this one?
#691 Sir-Charlie
@689, Khalil beat me to it, but the fact, by his own admission on another platform less than a week ago he said he wasn't capable of administrating a community should definitely brought to the fore. I don't think he was banking on anyone here bringing it up, but that's the consequence of posting to a public internet forum.
That aside, considering before this point I havn't seen him really pst or engage I'm only left to further think what I wrote on said forum was correct; He's only trying a powergrab.
#692 ArcticMoon
Let's be honest, for an usual person Elten isn't the first and last ever program in his life. He definitely knows what file explorer is, and again let's be real, there are tons of messengers out there, which can be used for private calls. The quality might not be the same, but still it's a fact.
On the other hand, if you can reach a friend only on Elten, sorry but that's not a friend. Sounds strange, but I'll explain. If you are friends with someone, especially for me it's one of the first few questions when I start to be interested in other contact details of the person. For example, we with Jitel met here on elten, but one of the first questions were if he has something else as well, other than elten. That's when he gave his skype and discord, and later telegram.
Comparing Elten to a mobile provider is a little too much I think. Don't imagine Elten on so a high level. :)

Let me correct you a little. I already wasn't a moderator when he created his signature. If I got the title after the events, I'd have kindly asked him to remove the signature, or at least change it. But the only admin was Pajper here. If I don't have the weapons in hand, I'm not going to fullfill my duties, that's it. I'm an usual user, just like you. And I, as a normal user, saw the process of creating the signature. When it was ready, Pajper has already taken away the ranks. Who to report then?
-- (khalil2009):

You misunderstood me a little here.
What I said is if I created a signature #StandWithRussia, everyone would have jumped on my throat. But for some reason #StandWithUkraine is fine. That's what I talked about, when I mentioned double standards. Fuck Zelenski, Ukraine, Putin, yeah, that's not cool, with that I agree.

Why didn't you report it to pajper then? You knew about it before everyone else, so it just seemed you were trying to hide his rule breaks.
#696 ArcticMoon
I repeat once and for all. I already wasn't a moderator when he created the signature, thus it's not my duty to report everything I find. And anyway, anyone could have decoded it, just like Pajper did a few days ago. The fact that I knew it earlier, doesn't mean I'm obligated to report. I'm just a simple user, like you.

Well, guys, the only thing I see is that all you are so bored that you even cannot stop yourselves from useless stuff.
Arctic allready told publicly that she will not be an admin or a mod and you still continue throwing shit at her shaming her for double standards, bad moderations etc etc.
Okay, when she told you all that she is not a mod and wasn't a mod when i set up this signature you started to throw shit at her because she knew about rules violation and didn't reported.
Let's be honest. You all know that we are in relations. And i cannot even imagine that one of you see how your the best friend or the person you love violates rules and you immediately run to pajper and tell him everything.
Yes, Arctic tried to tell me that it is too offensive. Yes i didn't listen to her because i was affected by all the anti-Russian shit here and on audio games.
Yes I hate Zelensky and his political position. Yes i love Russia because i am russian and i am willing to protect my country in any ways in any form.
And yes, I truely show my the biggest disrespect to all the people who just dives into propaganda and stops thinking at all.
And yes, I still believe that while usual users can and maybe even should announce their political position if they want and if this is not prohibited by rules, but an admin or a moderator cannot.
Oh by the way, show me please at least one rule which prohibits me from setting a signature with base64 encoded offensive sentence against Ukraine and Zelensky.
I will open and read the full document with rules to find something and if i find, i will publicly tell that i am not right and this was against the rules.
But if i do not find anything insinde those rules, i will set my offensive signature back and everyone of you will see that the developer of this whole thing acts against his own rules he wrote and does everything he wants just because he does not like others opinions or stands for Ukraine.
So now im going to read those rules and get back to you when finished.
#698 ArcticMoon
That's for one, yes. And as I said I'm also just a normal user so with that logic any of you could have reported, it would have had the same consequences. Of course noone would act against a beloved person, but this case is not entirely about that. The signature was public, so everyone could see and was free to decode at any given time, even at the moment of publicizing the base64 line.
#699 cyrmax
In I.13 we see a term defining who is considered a spammer.
13. "Spammer" is a person who posts content on the Portal that is inappropriate to the discussions, duplicates, harms the Portal or in any way offends users of the Portal, their beliefs, religion and views, as well as any national, religious or ethnic groups.
So I can say that pajper's "stand with ukraine" offends me too, it hurts me in national form. Does it mean that pajper should delete his signature?
I guess he will never do such a stuff.
Also we have people here who stands for ukraine, wants to free palestine or etc etc.
Will they be punished for that?
It really really harms me.
The second thing that makes the rules inefficient is the III.4 section telling us about the following:
4. The membership in the Portal Administration automatically expires as a result of:
A. Death of the user or his loss of ability to continue performing the function entrusted to him,
B. Unannounced user inactivity for more than 30 days, except in justified random cases,
C. Global user banning.
Sometimes we do not see pajper for more than 30 days. Also he sometimes does not respond to other admins or moderators more than for 30 days.
So?.. should pajper be removed from the portal admins?
Of course no because he developed the whole stuff here. But see, rules are not working.
And finaly, i didn't find any other rules regarding that my signature was not allowed.
It was not a malware, it was not a copyrighted thing, it was not offensive against one of the portal users or admins (of course if Zelensky is not an admin or user here on Elten).
Oh and btw, i didn't find anything about signatures at all.
We do not see what exactly is a post on the forum, is signature included in post content?
I guess no, because if i change my signature it changes everywhere, even in older posts.
So, no rules violation.
Of course, we have the magic rule which allows administrators to act as they want and consider right. But this is what i say: if admins think that ukraine is better than Russia, they would ban anyone who is offensive against ukraine and will hail everyone who stands for ukraine.
Also i will read the english community rules to find more and get back.

You're simply being a petulent and disengenuous child. Move on and stop crying.
