Not sure about the app, but I use an olympus dm720. It's very close to the lsp4 but the mics are flat on the top instead ot round, no bluetooth, no flac, it compresses automaticly at higher gain, but it does have timer recording and at the time, November 2021, it was easy to find. The compression doesn't happen if the gain is set to the lowest level and then the volum is increased in post. It probably does but I don't notice it at all.

How do you like the horrible limiter on the 720? I'm also having that one and I simply hate it with a passion.

I don't really like the limiter, but as I said before, if the gain is turned to as low as it can go then increased in post, it's barely noticable to me.
