i used audacity and gold wave. Audacity for the pitch changing and tempo changing, gold wave for the mixing.

you wana turn off the enhancements to the mic. go to the recording tab n mmsys.cpl, which you type in run first, then go to the propertys for that mic. then go to the advanced tab and uncheck enhancements

no not that, the advanced tab. there's a checkbox. turn off signel enhancements.
