Hi everyone! I just wanted to comment on two things here. First, the BGT. I have this, of course I can only suspect and surmise and suppose and what have you, but I have this theory that because BGT is based on C and because C has been changed, that some virus programs or antivirus programs rather suspect that it's a manipulated C and it wants to interfere with proper software, sort of. Now the second thing I wanted to talk about is completely different and has to do with language posts recording voice posts on this forum here. When you record, you don't have to send the post right away. You can listen to it. So if anything's wrong with your microphone, if it gets muted, if the recording isn't good for whatever reason, you can decide to rerecord and you don't have to send a post that you don't like yourself, you know, that you wouldn't send to people. This opportunity is here. You just have to pre-listen and you can delete your post and rerecord it, whatever. Just a friendly hint on the matter.
I mean, I guess it's not impossible. That would probably require some form of algorithmicly adaptive inspection of executables though, That would be super interesting to look at if it's the case.

One more post about BGT from me. My favorite audio game is Super Egg Hunt. It's written in BGT and I've never seen it flagged by antivirus software. Ah, the mysteries of such technology.

yes this is off topic, but here's why BGt games get flagged. Every BGT application is over 500KB in size because a file called exec.bin is included in the compiled application, which is basically the interpreter. BGt is in fact based on angel script which is based off C, so there needs to be an interpreter to bridge the gap between BGt and angel script. The way exec.bin is packaged in the executable is similar to how malware usually operates. When you have that, and the interpreter starting to run bits of application code because itself is an application, the AV goes uh, no, and flags it.

Hello, this is a Starchild here. After a while, since I'm really new to this thing and I don't know how to get to the end of threads, after a while I just started spamming tabs so I have no idea if this is like a dead thread or not and I'm just doing this in vain. However, on the off chance that it is not, and I'm actually recording to a thread that still exists, I am a Starchild person, I'm 15 years old. I'm originally from Aruba, but I've moved to the United States because situations just decreed I do so. My hobbies are languages and different kinds of music. I like playing musical instruments, well it depends on the instrument to be fair. But yeah, this is a Starchild introduction sort of thing. So yeah, thank you for having me on this platform. I'm enjoying it so far, but I still have no idea how to get to the end of threads and that can pose a very annoying circumstance at times. And yeah, that's it for me for now. I will no longer exist in threads.
