I have recorded some audio tutorials on Zhengdu's functionality. If you want to get them you can either wait for me to reupload them or join our telegram group https://t.me/zdsrgroup

One fact that I probably won't get over for a long time is that NVDA offers so much while still being free. Other screen readers, when they're free, they're either really crap, or if it's good, it is paid. I dare say that NVDA is not a product, but a social movement, and that's what I love about NVAccess. Yes, responsiveness is important, and I'm really sorry for you that it's so bad for you. I'm sure that the NVDA community is also glad to fix such issues where possible.

NV Access are thieves. They say that they "empower the blind", while their damned examination or the basic training are paid. This is hipocricy and I won't tolerate it. ZDSR Youth costs 10 dollars, and once finished, all the materials I create will be free, I won't even ask for donations

Well, I acknowledge that recent updates to NVDA are useless. And this basic training program doesn't really have to be paid. But you can still find other free content, including NVDA's own documentation, to learn how to use it. And however inefficiently managed recently, NVDA can always be taken over by someone else as it is open-source and will remain so. And Zhengdu does appear promising, but you need to make the public welfare version more preferable instead of offering everything in the youth version.
Only four people work on Zhengdu (including me). I am the only person doing localization, documentation writing and development for the western countries. I have been having my final school exams these days, so the work was delayed.

I also tried this new screen reader but without success. As it was said here, the Web site is still under construction but I'm waiting until the free version will still be more usable and more options will be available. To nuno69: why not put your tutorials here in Elten as files; just a thought. I know you are busy with other things for the moment so I do understand you.
Great! So you will update us on participation? -- (nuno69): Also, on the 12 TH of Jun 2021, a giveaway will be held. I will be giving out five Youth Pro licenses.
I never had any issues with NVDA, but Nuno explained many features which sound absolutely promising to me. I'm going to try the youth version to know if I like what I see, although I don't get what's wrong with NVDA. Who the hell needs basic training anyway? The first time I could interact with a PC was at the ageof 8, and I didn't even ask anything but explored everything by myself. Of course I don't say everyone should have th same level of patience, but hey. I'll still check ZDSR and I'm going to join the telegram group as soon as I set up telegram again, which is going to be in a few minutes.
@ArcticMoon its not about the need for Basic Trainings which are horribly written, by the way but about their fucking hypocricy which reaches the heavens and way, way above them. First, they say that they want to empower blind people in developing countries (does this slogan ring you a bell) if no, never mind. That will be explained later. So if their primary audience are people from developing countries, why they ask you for a fucking donation every time you update? Why they ask you for a donation whenever you want to download the software? Why 10 dollars is selected as the default value in the radio boxes group? Then comes their exam program. The idea is that when you pass their examination and pay a fee of 90 dollars (who the hell has 90 dollars in Pakistan or any other developing country) you are certified to be an NVDA expert and you can teach the screenreader to everyone legally. This exam is not to prepare you for teaching people because of many reasons, but the first one is the bizarity of all the questions. WHat shortcut does open the NVDA menu, what shortcut is used to enter the Windows desktop? Does this knowledge certify you to teach? They just want to milk money from people who truely want to help the poorer ones. Then again, they work closely with Mozilla, and mozilla pumps crazy amount of money into them. In return, Mozilla makes it harder to make their product accessible with other screenreading, like Zhengdu. Thank NVDA Access for the fatct that TB is still not supported by Zhengdu. I hold NV Access in the highest possible disregard, because they're a fuckiing group of hypocrits, making people believe they want to do good. I'm harsh, I'm maybe not nice but I do help with the screenreading I admire and love, I help people to buy it, to learn it and to understand it better. All materials related to Zhengdu will be forever free and I won't accept donations.
