NVDA is very fast here. JAWS isn't bad but I don't use it. I set it up but it's just on here taking up space.

Well I don't know Chinese. So what does Zhengdu mean? And how can I try the screen reader? I wonder how responsive it is. I may as well subsequently consider upgrading it.

Alright, so this ZDSR is detected as a threat by Windows Defender.
I tried installing it twice.
My first attempt resulted in a file being detected as a threat and requiring me to take action, and my second attempt resulted in me being prompted by Windows Defender to reboot my computer to remove the threat.

Zhengdu means "To struggle" or "To Fight". Please, disable defender while installing. Then uninstall the software with Chinese name, not Zhengdu but the Zhengdu Cloud, and then reenable defender.

The file is harmful and was blocked by Chrome. That's the last straw!

Alright, so I am using Zhengdu right now. And it is pretty responsive indeed. It really does a perfect job in cases where even NVDA would become so slow. So it even outways NVDA in terms of responsiveness. One essential problem is that the TTS engine that comes with the public welfare version, can't even read numbers properly, which even narrator does. And proper number announcement shouldn't really be something that we must pay for.
You know, I really considered to give this screen reader a try and, if I like it so much, upgrade it later. But now I changed my mind. So I would justify any attempt to crack the software unless the bug is fixed.
As I said, the public welfare version is excellent in terms of responsiveness, but it doesn't really deserve to be paid when I can't even find comprehensive help available in English and after all those issues, including threat warnings, that I had to deal with.

Catherine has a bug and its not a fault6 of the developers of ZDSR, but the engine itself. Please check your facts

And if I wanted to threaten you, I wouldn't mention how responsive Zhengdu was? And you know what, I was even intending to suggest that Zhengdu be supported by Elten.

But what do you want to achieve? Numbers are read, so what is the problem?

Are numbers read as 1, 2, 3, 4 instead of 1234?
If so, go to Zhengdu settings, reading setting and change the status of the checkbox which is labeled as "numeric"
