Each screen reader has its pros and cons. I should say I'm surprised at your decision, for I knew how well you used and recommended Narrator. But you can just use Narrator to watch Youtube videos, and NVDA for browsing the web. By the way, the very same problem you mentioned, I have with NVDA. So different machines and configurations may give different results with different software. And, as far as their latest updates prove, I doubt NV Access will continue to improve NVDA as fast and reliably as Microsoft improves Narrator. So the issue with Narrator can be fixed soon. --Cytat (fatih): btw I switched back to NVDA after 2-3 years of using Narrator. It kept crashing for some pages on microsoft edge and I couldn't resist no more. But let me tell you, that narrator can read subtitles in youtube on microsoft edge and they couldn't resolve it for NVDA still. But NVDA has better performance for my machine and it works good
Narrato will not get emproved for my pc, I guess, because the update 2004 didn't com to me. It came on my second computer, which was my tabled, and it totally ruined it, destroyng the drivers and all, including the sound card, the tuch part of the screen does not work, and the tablet thinks that it is on ac while it is on battery.
Well I find Narrator working reasonablly well with apps. For instance, it works very well with the app from the Weather Network compared with NVDA. I can't get anything out of it at all of this app with the NVDA screen reader.
Never tried the weather app. I struggled to get my location in, but finally gave up and deleted the app, and quite a few others. I only have ten apps in that folder now.
I did both, but the repairman said that this computer cannot give sound to the outside, so he said you need an external souncard. So I bought an usb sound card and it worked as soon as connecting t --Cytat (thespyde): Sounds like you need to get that tablet rolled back to 1909, or get it repaired, or both.
Hi, I have a samsung galaxy tab s6 lite with android 10.0. Does someone have a idea how i can get the samsung voice assistant screen reader sounds for talkback? Thank you!
Whenever I open a Microsoft Office file with Windows Explorer, close it and return to the explorer window, NVDA just says something like a preview tree view and no keyboard command, even Alt+F4, works. I have to press Alt, then Escape in order to be able to close the window.
