It's strange, because eSpeak is just perfect for reading hungarian. Besides Profivox, that is the quickest synth we have.

I wish elnur tts was available for windows at a reasonable price. Then I could try both the Turkish and the Azerbaijani voices. Its just available for Android at the moment, I just looked up from Yandex.

eSpeak pronounces it correctly, yeah. OMG vocalizer is buggy as hell. If you like messing around with synths, set your iPhone to english and add the hungarian vocalizer Mariska to your rotor languages. Browse through apps and find appstore. Listen to what she tries to say. :D

what does negyszas mean? I'm curious. Yandex for some reason didn't translate it correctly.

#406

It didn't translate correctly because it's missing some special letters. The original word is négyszáz and it means four hundred.

And even her name is differend on the iOS 16 beta I have. Eloquence Glen is changed to Eddy; Bobby is changed to Sandy; Sandy is changed to Flo. And Vocalizer Malcolm's name is changed to Jamie. Don't know who's responsible for all those, and don't know whether this is what has caused VoiceOver and the device to crash multiple times; but in any case, don't they have better things to do?

Ot: I heard that Hungarian has 22 or so cases. Even it was difficult to learn Russian, whih has six cases So, how can a foreign person anage to learn Hungarian?
It sounded awefully difficult to me. I looked at all of the cases and wow, very difficult indeed.

#413

Can't tell all the differences in detail, if any, as I am not a Hungarian speaker myself, but I would say she does.

I was wondering only because we have two versions of Mariska, the one you hear in vocalizer, and another which you hear in google translate. They sound different though.

it crashes now
-- (Enes):
Hope you backed up the installer somewhere.
Does it crash now or did you have to reset your computer because it had been crashing?
-- (usuf):
i actually did get the voice, but thanks to some technicle problems, I had to reset my computer and the installer crashes after I press theI agree button.think he miyght have just sarcastically told us to ignore his request rather than informing us that he truly got the voice.
-- (dragma13):
*wispering*. Hey! Can you please send me a tutorial on how to get the voice? I don't need it like vitally, but just for fun and experimentation. You can send it in arabic if you prefer.
-- (usuf):
forget it!, I found the voice.

the gurgliness of most acapela voices is a unit selection issue if you don't have a lot of data, it will articulate like an autotune on sterroids. Literally. Don't know how much data they used to train those voices, but it could also be some flaw in their unit selection algorithm. in any case, their cloud thingy is switching to neural voices, don't know if they will get into consumer products one day or not
thankses and regardzes from him the dragonoid

#418

maybe not. Neural is not usable on windows, sorry!
