I was a proud owner of the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini and the S4 Mini, and I really loved both. In fact, at the time Android was all I needed. But after trying iOS I feel like I can never go back.
With each day you are proving how stupid you are in terms of technology and possibilities, I'm sorry to disappoint you.
-- (Urh2006): Honestly? Why would I need a thirt-party screen reader on a phone to have the best possible experience, if an iPhone includes one that is in my opinion lightyears ahead of Android's offerings? Also it's about hardware. Because Apple ensures that they control the production end to end, there are literally no surprises, you don't have to think about how often your phone updates because Samsung is lazy and they're slow pushing Android updates. Also, many sighted people told me that apps on iPhones just run better, even Google's apps apparently look much more visually appealing on an Iphone than on an Android. --

There's this TalkBack screen reader alternative for those who prefer VoiceOver's gestures called Talk Forward. Stupid name, by the way. No, I am not making this up.
That thing is not even opensource and thus probably violating the licenses. Nobody can verify what the sr does. Also, don't you still need an email for registering and downloading or something?
@Arctic, believing that first-party or on-device screen readers are better than thirt-party garbage does not make me stupid automatically. If you think this is the case, it's clearly just projection.
One more thing @Arctic: What I mean is, if I told you that you're stupid because you support Russia or that you're stupid because you support Orban (that one is up for debate), you would probably criticise me for that. But everything you say must be respected and if someone disagrees with you you throw a tantrum. Smells like an Orban supporter to me ... OMG, is that why you're so negative all of a sudden? Is it because he lost, and you'll have to flee the country sooner rather than later? Oh nevermind, you were like this all along. *This last part should not be taken seriously, I'm just adding fuel to the fire because I have no reason not to.**
Bruh. Can you not go a single day without calling someone stupid or otherwise putting them down in some form or fassion? Jesus H Christ. Just because someone tried a thing, found they didn't like it, switched to a new thing and sees no reason to return to the original thing, it does not. Repeat, DOES! NOT! mean that they're, quote, "stupid in terms of technology and possibilities." -- (ArcticMoon): With each day you are proving how stupid you are in terms of technology and possibilities, I'm sorry to disappoint you.

tbh, test both if you have the abillity. Heck if you have the right of withdrawal order one, try it for 10 days and send it back if you don't like. I think it's good to have both, and to form an own opinion.
If you're a blindy, use an iPhone with as a note taker using Braille Access, and a braille display connected to it. Both operating systems have AI integrated ~to them. The problem is, which one is better to use? Apple Intelligence, or Google Gemini.
Don't think there are significant differences as Apple Inteligence is powered by Gemini models. No idea how much they have been altered/trained or what is using what, but yeah.
MODERATION! @Arctic Moon and @Urh2006, you're both receiving warnings for your conduct in this thread. Specifically for Arctic's Post 22 and Urh's post 27. Calling someone stupid on it's own is problematic, and would have earned you just a little tip to cool the rhetoric, however you've shown a consistant pattern of bashing, attacking, insulting, which frankly I've allowed to go unchallenged for too long. I also noticed you and Urh seem to be having some kind of beef with each other, so I'm saying that it stops now. @urh2006, there is absolutely nothing wrong with debating someone's political beliefs. We have entire threads and a forum dedicated to such things. But what you don't do is A), attack someone for their political beliefs and, perhaps more importantly, B), assume someone's political beliefs and then launch an attack based on that assumption. Further more, this forum heavily frowns on stirring the pot just for stirring the pot's sake. Please tone down the rhetoric. This is a thread about people's mobile device preferences, not about Putin or Orban, whose been out of office for months by this point. Please be so guided.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.
Also, sometimes, with this new iOS 27 update, VoiceOver is sort of slow, and buggy. I hope Apple fixes it. It cuts out, and braille screen input is a little bit slow. This is because I'm using an iPhone 15.

I very often write the moderation messages just before I'm about to do something promising to update the log later then EDIT: Wait, I've been updating it consistantly since the last time I said I would I always forget. L to me. . I don't think I've done anything administratively between unbanning Alchappers and now?

The thing is, I didn't call him stupid. I told him he looks more and more stupid every day with these false messages. It doesn't mean he is stupid as a person or something's odd with him. As a person he's pretty decent, but he's incompetentent if it comes to technology.
