Sorry but this is bullshit. I refuse to believe you. iPhone has always been, and will always remain, faster and smoother than Android. And also, app crashes will occur far more often on an Android device than on iOS, that's a fact.
Actually, I'd say I've seen more apps crash and run inefficient on an iPhone, TalkBack being the exception. It's just complete garbage and I don't trust Google anymore after just boot looping tons of devices and making my Pixel 9 Pro useless by freezing all few hours until a soft reset with the march Pixel drop.
LOL. Have you even tried it - and no, 10 years ago is no longer current. I have not yet had any app crash ever apart of Codefactory's Eloquence which is garbage anyway. Talkback may be slow as fukc but that does not make it an OS issue. -- (Urh2006): Sorry but this is bullshit. NVDA IS BETTER THAN JAWS I SWEEEAAAAAAR I mean... This is kindergarten level, dude. Also no, iPhone is worse and worse every time it gets an update.

The problem is all iPhones are flagships, which means that out the gate you'll get a smooth experience no matter what iPhone you use. An old iPhone will feel faster than even a low level android from today because the hardware is just so far ahead. Android can be good if you have, idk, a Pixel or a Samsung Galaxy S or something but outside of that and certain versions of the A, it's Dogshit. And BTW, I don't trust Commentary. That's a personal choice of mine
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.
Honestly? Why would I need a thirt-party screen reader on a phone to have the best possible experience, if an iPhone includes one that is in my opinion lightyears ahead of Android's offerings? Also it's about hardware. Because Apple ensures that they control the production end to end, there are literally no surprises, you don't have to think about how often your phone updates because Samsung is lazy and they're slow pushing Android updates. Also, many sighted people told me that apps on iPhones just run better, even Google's apps apparently look much more visually appealing on an Iphone than on an Android.
I just set up an iPhone 8, and honestly, Voice Over runs perfectly fine. Each time I get my hands on a random iPhone I'm genuely impressed how responsive Voice Over is, and has been. Even on an iPad Mini 1, the iPods, or what do I know. No, Apple is not the accessibility heaven as some people praise them. I mean just look at the initial release of iOS 27. But as I mentioned. My iPhone never froze on me randomly when I needed it, way less lag, and more granular settings to control. On TalkBack, you either turn vibrations and sounds on or off. With Voice Over, you can set it for each action. And yes, I use that. I have almost all sounds disabled, various vibrations as well because I don't need a vibration when I focus an item, nor when the screen refreshes, but yeah, I take it when I reach a border or similar.
I switched from an iPhone 15 Pro to the Pixel 10 a month ago. So far, the experience is great on Android and I'm not really looking back. Yes, Talkback is slower than Voiceover, but it is not that much. My dad has the Samsung Galaxy A26 and on there the experience is bad. But the pixel 10 is at least in my opinion grats. Yes, there are some issues, for example sometimes the phone would only reacts to swipes and touching the screen won't do anything until I restart, but I hope this gets fixed. Apps never crashed on the pixel at least for now, and on iPhone they didn't as well. However, on iPhone Voiceover often jumps to the status bar and you don't get back down. Never happened on Android.
iOS 27 is the best iOS update in years, and while sure, there are a few very annoying VO bugs, the OS is very fast and runs much much faster than my father's Samsung 26 Ultra.
The first post doesn't tell us much, I'd like to understand what makes it more stable than an IPhone. Am also asking since I am really getting fed up of my Iphone 15 and want to switch to android in a couple years.
I feel that every person, if they can, should have an Android and an Iphone. An app that works well on Android might not work the same on Iphone and the opposite goes through. This is based on people who tested apps and told me.
For me I have an iPhone and an android tablet and test apps on both. For example an app on iOS may have better accessibility than an app on android, or it could be the oposit, and so on.
