The one were he said there's too much hostility in the community. Idk what it's called, I didn't see it in-game.
Chesterton, G.K. "When men choose not to believe in God, they do not thereafter believe in nothing; they then become capable of believing in anything."
@159, he's really upset about a discussion we had about Transgender people. Basically we said transitioning was a choice, and a choice only available to the privileged, and he didn't like that.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.

Hey what about, we get to add custom servers like in SBYW back then? Lol but actually though, in a game like this it might be better, especially if you don't wanna deal with Tunmi's staff.
I mean sbyw's staff isn't perfect, but at least we don't ban people on a whim. We have literally been threatened with legal action before yet we didn't make it staff policy to ban people criticising us or the game. That's just wrong and frankly pathetic.

163 how you have to keep mentioning this discussion, also responding to a 2 weeks old masto discussion about it but refusing to respond to actual points. Actually I didn't mean only this but the general admosphere on sbyw, and in that regard fernando actually made a pretty good point. Regarding custom servers, I mean even though i am gc staff my self and should feel targitted, I wouldn't be fully against it if it happened. Custom servers and server clusters can also be used to ballance the game in regards to lag, if you do it correctly.
Maybe if used as relays... -- (karmien): 163 how you have to keep mentioning this discussion, also responding to a 2 weeks old masto discussion about it but refusing to respond to actual points. Ok to be clear, I didn't say custom servers would be good because I dislike the staff, most of staffs doing alright. I am not even against the rule that constant negativity spreading can get you banned, also it's false that no other quote respectable game did this before. big mainstream names have also done this before. How ever I also find the way questionable the rule got applied to Jonathan, as I said the Jonathan ban is an edge case and is pending further discussion.
So you think big mainstream games hire staff to look into social media and then connect social media names with in game names and ban them? Because I honestly don't think the developers have the time or hopeless boredom to read the chat, feedback or whatever of hundreds of thousands people and ban every tenth. -- (karmien): Ok to be clear, I didn't say custom servers would be good because I dislike the staff, most of staffs doing alright. Also Tunmi's definition of constant negativity=crying around at this point himself about people just speaking up about his vibe code game. Dude it's not that deep. He'd be better off at least pretending to not give a damn. More people would play it, and more so proper people. But you do you, staff.
If you already talk about more people will play, 26 players right now and this is pretty constant. So our player numbers are quite alright if you ask me. I think it was world of warcraft that previously banned people for spreading constant negativity, and for beeing trolls. For example, if fernando was on gc and we banned him it would be justified cause he said efore that he's only a detractor at this point, in this very topic.
Last Shot had 44 players consistently. Oops, forgot to add, that it was for five minutes, a day or two after the game launched. Don't think the player count now is how it always will be.
LS also had 20-30 2 weeks after launch, and another 3 weeks later it has 3-10 at best. So something looking consistent is not as true as it seems, and it's only a matter of time until dramas begin to pile up and people get sick of it because it begins affecting them.
I don't believe it makes sense to compare these kind of genres, and who cares about player counts anyway. If I release a game, I'm happy if 5 people find genue fun at it. If I have 40 who cause drama or are unbenefitial to the game, what does it help. With all respect. So eh, I don't know. I think those numbers are really impressive and cool, granted I do personally care about them too. But thinking you are something better because your number is higher is Kindergarten. I'd say SBYW currently has the much more enjoyable community but that's subjective of course.
I just came to watch you guys arguing whether LS or GC has more players. Well... What to say. MTG and HS have more players. Much more. Time to catch up!
