It's faster than nvda, less lags, you have some functions which are better than in nvda or nvda doesn't have them even with plugins, but not somany people would use for example extended clipboard. I recommend you to test it, but it still has some bugs. It's like comentary screenreader/jieshuo screenreader 2 years ago

I have used zdsr since the beginning of december, it looks great, works faster than nvda, but of course it has some disadvantages, but it's good enough, to motivate me to buy a premium version and use it for years. It's really like jieshuo screenreader in 2020, but the difference between talkback and Jsr is a lot of bigger than between nvda and zdsr.
I I'm thinking about creating a group about zdsr.
Ps. until 9th of januray we can buy zdsr cheaper. normal price is 26 usd per year.
now you will pay 19 usd per year, 33 usd for 2 years and 43 usd for 3 years.

Hello everyone.
I want to give my opinion on ZDSR since I tried it about two and a half years ago.
First, regardless of it being paid and not free, this is not a problem, because it is much faster than NVDA, and this is very noticeable.
But let's remember that NVDA is first and foremost open-source and has a large number of add-ons that help users in a lot of areas.
Nevertheless, I still believe that ZDSR does not have the large community that NVDA enjoys.
But this does not negate the fact that ZDSR is better than NVDA in terms of speed, but every screen reader has its advantages and disadvantages.
However, everything I said is subject to change at any time, and it does not show my bias towards any screen reader, but the truth is that NVDA has a large community, but in terms of speed, it is not comparable to ZDSR, as the latter enjoys great speed and smoothness of use. However, being paid and having a community for developing add-ons, which I believe it supports, is not as large as NVDA's community makes it unreliable on many computers, unlike NVDA..
Let's take CSR on Android as an example. It has a very strong community, and there are many add-ons and tools for it. Therefore, it is widely adopted on phones, and this has made it superior to TalkBack. It's difficult for any screen reader to reach its current level of prominence on Android.
Generally speaking, this is my humble opinion; not everyone may agree with it, and some may.
