When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.

I also like cold cut meats as well like Baloney.
And I am not into spicy food. Whenever I encounter one I just drink water to reduce spice.

Something sweet is better for reducing the hotness of spice.

Speaking of spicy food? I love an Indian curry called Pathia, and that is a spicy, sweet and sour combination, after which I never want to eat any other curries anymore lol. It was a paradise for the taste buds.

Indian food is quite fascinating regarding tastes, indeed. Even though I probably didn't nearly try as much as you. I'd be generic in saying that I love chicken curry but hey.

@82, in fact as far as I know drinking water right after eating spicy food is very unhealthy. In some regions here where they eat spicy food a lot, they drink cold milk afterward and always say that drinking water is very not recommended.

That is the same for me here in Cannada. We have milk after eating spicey food. It is good for you.

Yup milk does a great job after eating spicy, not sure about water being unhealthy, but gonna do some research into that.

Ineffective would probably be a better term for water after hot spices.

I haven't tried it with milk before, but so far I found it healthy when I drink water after I eat spicy food.

hi all, i have a lot of favourite foods, for example chilli con carne, lasagne, gyros, etc... also, i love sweets, for example krówky, those are polish caramel bonbons, but in czech republic as i come from, people must be carefull, because there are made some copies of these bonbons, which aren't so delicious and creamy.

I think the Europeans spell it with an e on the end and the Americans spell it with an a. Thus lasagne for the folks on the east side of the Atlantic and lasagna for those of us on the west side. I still consider myself American as I have no intention of applying for citizenship here. I know I'll never be able to meet the language requirements and I don't know enough about the culture here to ever assimilate properly.

Paprikash and goulash are wonderful, especially when spicy, but I like almost everything spicy.
Ahh, I love kebabs and pizza very much, as well.

okay, when i was in belgium, i had an opportunity to taste the horse meat... concretely horse steak with chips. this meat is very similar to beef, but a bit sweeter, because of the sacharids.

lmao that's funny, belgians don't eat horse meat, or it's very rare. We keep horses here for farming and hardly ever slaughter them.
