It is a bond between either two or a group of people who don't necessarily have to agree in everything, but have to have something in common like a hobby or an ideology to keep them encouraged to get to know each other and accept each other. A friendship is based on respect, empathy, honesty, constructive criticism, being able to give and receive it, being helpful, being loyal, living through the happy and sad moments together and coming out stronger together. It is like love, but without hugging, kissing, sex and all the other nice stuff reserved for a lover.
Someone close enough to where if I wanted to I could go to their house, simmilar interests, someone who thinks the same way as me, kind of ties into the same interests thing, someone who I can actually share things with without them saying "I don't care what you have to say."
