vsti to audio : reaper

Hi there.
Is there a way in reaper to record a track input as an audio item?
Imagine that I have a synth and I just wana throw it to audio.
By that I don't mean track-freezing, because that's kinda different... I don't need to store my fx and stuff, I just want to record a track input...
Any ideas how to do it?

I have tried to insert a new instrument to a track and then after recording save this project, as wav file.

You can select "record output" in track context menu. Here you are few options such as "multichannel latency compensated" or stereo or few others.
