The sad thing is, I believe NVDA will be broken for the duration. I hope I'm wrong on this, but that seems to be the way they're going with this Elten development thing.

I don't think so. I am using the Elten NVDA add on and I have no problems at all.

#44

No problems here either!

We're trying to figure out what's wrong. I haven't got any problems with NVDA, but many users reported that they have.

It was expected that braille extender addon may cause problems.

Ah yes, I got that one disabled because my braille display doesn't work when it is enabled, regardless of Elten.

#54

A problem that I just found out.
The reason why some of you may still have problems with the Elten NVDA add on could be this: If you have been on Elten, but you send it to the system tray but you forgot about it that it is there and you start the Elten program, let's say from your Desktop, that's when the message comes up that Elten has detected that you are using NVDA. It happened to me twice lately.

#55 Edited

Ah yes. Always when there's another instance running, yes, I noticed that too in much earlier versions as well. I always make sure that there isn't.

#56

I never use the system tray option for Elten.

What I mean is, I always fully exit Elten. I never hide it in the system tray, period.
