I just downloaded the latest beta and everything seems fine here. However, again, that I mentioned earlier as well. Windows defender wants to flag the file when I download it, and when I run the beta it brings up smart screen. Elten shouldn't do this since it's not written in BGT, and previous versions before 44 or so didn't even do this.

yes. maybe the elten installer must be changed to the other service, maybe i will make an installer maker in future

The date is way wrong on posts now as well.

Also in the Polish community there are quite some complains about the Elten NVDA add on. As for me, I'm having no problem at all with it. Pajper starts even thinking to eliminate the Elten NVDA add on altogether by the time Elten 2.4 will be launched. Too bad because it just works fine here. Therefore, let users have the choice, whether they prefer to use it or not. Also, be sure that the Elten NVDA add on is enabled.
As for mentioning the wrong date, that may depend from the kind of synthesizer voice you are using. I am using Windows one kor voices and it mentions the date, it says for today, "February 6, 2020.

The sluggishness has disappeared in this beta. So for me, all's good, because no new bugs have been introduced as far as I can tell on my side.

Since I'm used to Eloquence's way of saying the date, I have no idea how this synth says it. I'm using, whether I like it or not, SAPI 5, David desktop from Microsoft. The screen reader toggle doesn't do anything except say screen reader voice being used, and it isn't.

It's used to the month, day, year format. However Pajper uses the day, month, year one. What a strange bug you have there. Don't know how that happened. Did you check in the voice settings too?

That's why there should be a calender introduced with the clock so that you can change the format of the date the way you want it pronounced.

Yes, that's a good idea. The thing about the voice settings was in response to Charles's bug about his screen reader voice not working.

I have an other bug.
When launching elten, it asks to install addon, but it is allready.

That's because the NVDA Elten add on was disabled.

edit: it is enabled.

I'll look at voice settings and see if I can sort my bug out.

So, it's set correctly and I'm still hearing David desktop.

Elten no longer can use NVDA without NVDA addon, that may be the cause.
