Audio recorder with USB audio support

Hello,

does someone know which audio recorders also have USB sound device support and at least are partly accessible? I already have a few Olympus recorders which you can use as USB microphone, but this doesn't work nicely in linux environments. I'm looking for a sound device for a Raspberry Pi project which supports stereo microphone input for electret microphones, therefore the simple sound dongles are not suitable. Currently I'm using a logilink soundbox with 2 microphone inputs (left / right), but it has sound quality issues, and I would like to replace it with something better. Unfortunately most professional devices don't support electret mics.

i don't know. What about zoom?

I have hurt (sorry if I speeled that wrong) anyway, from a recorder that'''s coalt the zoom h1. Maybe you should try that.

Yes, looks like zoom recorders are an option. Unfortunately the USB audio connection doesn't work out of the box. You have to poke around in the menu upon connecting the device. Currently I'm looking for Raspberry Pi audio cards, seems there are some with stereo microphone inputs.

Try zoom h2n.

zoom h2n is simple all you need to do is just push this little knob on the side two times and press it once and it should work.

the only down with zoom is that it there is not speech.
