Yeah, with this post we have 817 and to be quite honest I'd like to access posts from the past without knowing the exact number or just going and going until I find the one I want because I know I found here some stuff I liked yet don't remember exactly the author or post number.
Even this plug-in itself has a bunch of different presets. Considering that it's free, albeit a limited version of its paid counterpart, and that I tweaked some parameters like portamento and polyphony, chances are, your keyboard will sound more realistic. Also, bear in mind that this thing that I posted is not HQ.
alright now I'll be recording demonstrating and testing two things in
one my Sennheiser Ambio smart headset and this amazing truly amazing free
plug-in to play the bagpipes it's truly amazing made by Quilcom Q-U-I-L-C-O-M
and the plugins name is SIMBP all caps S-I-M-B-P and truly it deserves
a
name because it simulates the bagpipes quite well indeed now you'll you'll hear

man that's amazing by the way i was totally improvising so don't expect anything
uh perfect but what's even more amazing is that it's a synth instrument so no actual recordings
of the bagpipes
uh no real samples no actual recordings man that's amazing it's more than worth a try
and i definitely recommend it oh by the way okay
oops here's something else uh the recorder that i used earlier to post my latest medieval track
here it is
rex soprano
yeah these are great plugins
and i definitely and strongly encourage you to give both of them a try so that's all for now
Just figured that the plug-in has a ton of great presets, all totally-synthesized and tuned for authenticity! Excellent! Transitions between notes are also amazingly realistic!
Indeed! I love that bagpipe! And as for the chinese instrument, the one you posted sounds more like a recorder, while the one I have on my keyboard sounds more like a reed, for example on a harmonika.
what thing on your keyboard? hozosch Oh, so that's what that thing on my keyboard is meant to be! I've got it too, although it sounds a bit different from the one you just posted.
Trussville roll: Deep-fried, smoked salmon, crab salad, cream cheese, topped with mango sauce, sweet soy-reduction, green onion. MMMMM
The di-zi. -- (techboy): what thing on your keyboard? hozosch Oh, so that's what that thing on my keyboard is meant to be! I've got it too, although it sounds a bit different from the one you just posted.
I guess it's supposed to sound more like the former than the latter, but can't tell much as I have listened to real performances only a few times and I have not heard the thing on your keyboard. -- (hozosch): Indeed! Here's an unfinished attempt of mine to find out what would happen if I tried to use the bagpipes in a blues orchestra kind of thing. So I hope I'll be able to add the other instruments soon even though it's already been quite difficult to make the drums on the computer keyboard, but what I would like to ask you is whether anyone here has an electric guitar with a wah-wah pedal and can record some great funky chords to mix with this thing. The tempo is 75 BPM.
