Hell, I used it with the vocaliser1 driver, and while trying to install the addon, it just through an error.

I can remember Hozosch doing it for example, I asked him about the same thing 2 years ago, cuz I also wanted the old siri voices for it but he couldn't get it to work.

Besides I'm not sure if it's worth using very outdated nvda only for siri voices now.

well I would use the last compadible nvda for that because I love siri voices so much

I have old nvda versions so that is not a problem. I know a friend who is using 2019.3 for dectalk and he's just fine with it.

The volume is quite low, NVDA's language is set to Turkish, and I had to record with the default app because GoldWave is broken right now and I didn't want to bother to close my current project and make a new one and then render it to record with Reaper. Still, here's the Siri voices with NVDA 2022.4. It's because I wanted to keep the premium variants for some and the compact variants for some others that they differ from one Siri voice to the other.

The file would play properly on my computer. Could you try downloading it instead and navigating to it via the File Explorer and opening it there instead?

Elten doesn't like streaming m4a. You have to save it.

maybe someone can contact Apple to see if they can get the siri voices and then after that someone can code it.

Not that they'd probably care/want that in the first place.

I'm very very sure people tried that and ofc no result. Mac uses something completely else than windows, and it is a completely different system. Mac is rather close to Linux as far as I know.

Besides what would you do with it. Change the extension and pray for it to work?

its probably a compressed format, with all the diphones, which are liike tiny little audio files it pieces together for speech
