Haha Charlie I would ask, cold bath on a cold day or hot bath on a hot day? Both would be quite uncomfortable, but probably most would choose one over the other.

Would you rather sing infront of people, or would you rather sing alone in your own room?

I would sing alone.

Actually depends on my mood. If people join in eventually alone is much more boring than that. But if alone would mean I can record for music production and no one like family is around to hear me in the house then yeah sure.

I used to record me singing and playing the piano on the old music thread back in 2021 for me to bring back some memories.

Would you rather do online shopping or shop in person? I'm only asking that because during covid we had to do that online. I meen some pople still do it but yeah.

Physical shopping is fun but also can be frustrating, and tiring if something takes too long trying to find it.

Would you rather be able to travel through time, or to teleport?

Teleport, as I strongly dislike time travel and stories about it.

Probably me too. I mean no one were to believe you if you'd tell that person. Only you or the people who made it possible for you in this other time would know. But if you were to meet them in the past, you'd manipulate time in a fake way and they wouldn't believe you either. So you'd be cooked in both ways.

Yeah, that stupid paradox thing, go back, kill your parents or grandparents and poof, you're gone. It doesn't make any sense, sorry.

Back to topic I guess.

Would you rather deal with your blindness like a champ, or try to do everything you can to get your sight back?

2025-11-22 13:15

#133 djsenter

I would rather be sighted, never had it so can't get it back.
If being a champ is constantly living on alert and having to plan every move when in new environments, then I'd rather have more freedom and less stress.

I dream that I always wanted sight so I would pick the second option.

Would you rather live in an apartment, or a house.

Apartment, 100%. Less expensive by chance cuz you can pick a size, no garden to care about, I'd like a balcony and I'd be happy, and I'd like to live more central in my town anyway.

I mean I get why you would take apartment, though balcony to some random street isn't that awesome either. If it's modern and big maybe, but honestly if I had the money I'd choose house. Just for the control. I can decide the internet connection, all the other contract related things, I just have the entire thing for myself I want to. Not trying to sound egoistic but... Also gardens are nice, would prefer over balcony I think. And while living central is nice most of the time, I wouldn't say no to life in a bit quieter area.

LOL I even can relate to both of the sides, actually. As of now I'm living in a fairly okish-sized house with a nice garden in a quite quiet community, although a train and bus station are just minutes of walking away and connect me to the city and other important places. I enjoy the quietness, although sometimes I would think that I'd prefer an apartment in the city center too as , for example, package delivery may go just a bit faster and I as a blind person actually have less to learn because food stores and the like could be closer to me. I'm not saying I have to walk long or that is an issue for me, but here we don't have many food stores such as McDonalds, a Kebab store and the like and in a city you can expect such things to be more close than far. But on the other hand, the amount of parks and forests here is really cool. So what would I pick on the long run? I'm really not sure, I guess both would work out with me.

I'd prefer a house cus more privacy, but a small one, cosy and comfortable, not some huge, lonely mansion :D
Would you rather live a rich, but lonely life, or a poor life, but in a supportive and a caring community?

Surely 2nd one. Whoever chooses the first one needs to reconsider their life bro.
