so wait. what about neo speech alison how did they get that is that even a thing idk
-- (blazy-enterprises):
the vocalizer voices oridginated from lernout and hospy speechify, voices like tom, jill, and jenefer, along with other voices we don't have such as crage and dana, and then speechworks bought out learnout and hospy in 2000, and then scansoft bought speechworks in 2001, then nuance had plans to buy them out in 32004 when was when they made the samantha voice and other voices for other languages, 2006 comes along, and nuance buys out scansoft, as for loquendo, they started out as an italion only speech synthesyser in 1994, in fact, loquendo in englesh means talk about, then 2002 comes along, and they add other languages and voices suchas dave. 2012 comes along, and nuance buys out loquendo, and they port over some loquendo voices to vocalizer, such as alison, susan, diego, fransisca, carlos, ioana, kryzzstof, zosia, leila, tarik, magnus, and some others.

I think you mean Neospeech Ashly
#523 blindTechProductions
I wish they ported the steven voice over to vocalizer that would have been cool
#524 marchoffmann
Well dave too though, and remove susan. Idk I like dave, it's also lower quality like susan but it seems like a good calm and or narator voice
#525 blazy-enterprises
yeah same, they should have ported all of the loquendo voices from all languages to vocalizer, yes, dave and stevan, but also german stephan, katren, and ulreqe, along with the french voices, and finish and turkesh languages because those loquendo voices disapeared from the internet and I would be interested in having them, along with loquendo norwegen vilde.
#526 NalaRivera
i also like Dave!
#527 marchoffmann
It's norwegian lol, not norwegen. That's the german word for the country norway. But so wait they did have another norwegian voice too? And yes that 1 german male voice was quite good too as far as I remember. But that all will stay dreams. Though for sapi5 it'd be interesting too

Its weird that only some Loquendo voices got ported to Vocalizer
#529 marchoffmann
Indeed. Probably the best ones in, well, their opinion at least... Question is why exactly susan for example.
#530 Jokyboy129
Sorry when this is a stupid and no sence-making questin, but what is the worst tts synthesizer you can get for sapi4 or sapi5)
#531 marchoffmann
Espeak. :p jk
#532 techboy
what's wrong with espeak?
#533 marchoffmann
Gives me headaches to the highest. It's just horibly equalized too.
#534 techboy
fair enough. but the worst is probably orpius or infovox the old one, not accapla
#535 blazy-enterprises
personally, there is no such thing as the worst synthisyser, personally, they all have a place in my heart, but yeah, espeak is one of my least favorites, but as for orfius and infovox pre2002, I love those.
#536 NalaRivera
yeeep, espeak, i also don't like it aaa
#537 GeorgeWu
espeak is my least favorite, but sometimes I mess around with it just for fun. I use eloquence most of the time.
#538 blazy-enterprises
yeah, I have made my own espeak verients that perpously sound bad, there names are potatotruck and hamberger hoebag, if you want them, 0or want to here the storry of how they came about, you can pm me.
#539 marchoffmann
Lmfaoo! But also, how can a speech synthesizer have a place in ones heart, like really interpreted as said?
#540 Victor
I mean he tried dating TTS voices
