#462 techboy

#463 DJGraco
Jes, I'm working with Apollo in the latest version of nvda, 2023.1
#464 techboy
Oh. That is nice
#465 TheBlindTechGuy
Hi to everyone.
I know that this thred isn't as active as it used to be, but I was wondering if there was any new speach synths on iphone?
I know we will probably get new ones in iOS 17 maby, but I was wondering if you knew of anyothers besides eSpeak.
Thanks and can't wait to find more speach synths!

there is macedonian and albanian rhvoice. and Espeak. I didn't hear of others
#467 marchoffmann
Yeah, there is rh voice indeed but who knows when they'll add english and all their other voices, idk really.
#468 marchoffmann
Personally? I'd enjoy an older vocalizer version being added again
#469 TheBlindTechGuy
yeah I would have to agree with a older vocalizer version being added again.
#470 marchoffmann
Especially old ava...
#471 marchoffmann
I can't believe how much they messed it up.
#472 TheBlindTechGuy
yeah. I like the samantha compact from ios 6 so it would be really cool if they could add that.
#473 fatih
Aylin compact from IOS 6 would be goot as well, and I'm looking forward to a new version of rh voice with all of the available languages.
#474 marchoffmann
Aylin? Who the heck is that
#475 fatih
Old vocalizer for automotive voice, now replaced by Cem and Yelda.
#476 marchoffmann
Ahh, I see. So you talk about tirkish voices
#477 fatih
Yeah
#478 Enes
DecTalk would also be interesting. I contacted Google myself a long time ago to request that their voices be ported to iOS, but got no response from them whatsoever. Those willing and able may somehow contact Yandex, as I couldn't do that. And how about Microsoft? I highly doubt Acapela Group will ever make its voices available on iOS, as we can currently use them as paid voices for and within apps like VoiceDream Reader. So the app's developer is probably pushing makers of TTS engines away from making iOS versions of their voices themselves, as this will make it pointless to purchase the voices separately for VoiceDream Reader, or whatever its current name is, as well.
#479 techboy
also what is vocalizer automotive compared to regular
#480 Enes
The difference is that what you describe as "regular" is Vocalizer Expressive, so there's no such thing as Vocalizer Regular. You just have different versions.
