I love rap music, and corridos which is like a regional mexican genre. I have thousands of them. Let me know if you want to see one
#82 LordJohnEdward
I don't like all rap music though. The vast majority of all the nonsensical rap about like fornication and all that garbage I stay away from.

just go siri, what's this song? and itl work
-- (thespyde):
Have you tried asking Siri? My wife's iPhone seems to recognize music. She has to use a new command, something like "What do you hear?" In German of course. Mine is in English and I can't get it to recognize music at all. It wasn't very good before the update and now it doesn't work with anything I've tried.

Nope, doesn't work any more. They keep breaking it, making it so undependable I just don't bother any more.

I play piano and I listen to metal.

That's right, Siri just says an error has occurred or "I can't recognize music right now. Please try again later", except later I get the same message.

#88 techboy

#89 thespyde
Good on y'all.

Siri basically uses shazam. Download that one and ask it, if Siri refuses to work.
#91 thespyde
Tried that too, with no better luck.
#92 Somebody
I had better luck at first, but not any more.

I love Soviet music, especially the early singers, such as Lemeshev and Kozin... Also, Lydia Ruslanova, for example.

Hi!
I found out that i haven't even posted here, hm!
Lol.
I am a huge fan of music, mostly because i am a beginner vocalist myself and I do academic vocals...
I really love listening to russian soviet music, mostly I listen to Russian music only.
As far as English songs, I am not a huge fan of them, but if I want to listen to english music I would listen to Enya, Robbie Williams, Michael Buble, Rod Stewart (His jazz standarts covers)...
I really love Spanish music, I am learning Spanish and try to find something to listen too...
I listen to Natalia Oreiro and Gypsy kings, that's all what I know from Spanish music heh.
Anyway, I am always ready to disscuss and even share music with you!

I am an ethnomusicologist by profession. I collect old recordings (gramophone 78 RPM discs and reel-to-reel tapes). Basically, I rarely listen to anything recorded after 1960s or 70s. :)

I play piano, accordion, and guitar, but guitar like a beginner, because I'm learning.
What music I'm listening to?
Often some new metal, death metal, or old metal like Iron Maiden.

Hey all. I have a friend who is wanting to post her music somewhere. But, we just can;t figure out where is the best place to do this. We thought of youtube, but, seeing as you have to make the file in to a video format. That will be a bit difficult for her. She is just wanting to post the mp3 file. If anyone knows of anything. Could you please PM me directly as this thread is already pretty big. Thanksa lot for your help.

You don't, actually. You just need a photograph and a mp3 file of the song. Then you go to tunestotube.com, log in with your Youtube account, upload the file and the picture, add description and tags, and Tunestotube will create the video for you!
