From my perspective, just talkback and back talk don't work faster than jsr, if you see any functions which are useful for you and you don't need JSR, no problem. There are 5 or 10 screenreaders, I hope that in a year most of them will work.

but generally she's right :) I hope that there will be more screenreaders from scratch, talkback just doesn't work so fast, but it's a lot of better now.

i've had to much issuse with csr, multi touch and scroleing, finger print hints not reading on pixel, and gboard just broaken
the faided one, the forgoten, but the second some one's computer breaks, it's natan natan natan help. and i can not handel this angelsclan problem, all my friends are leeving
to me I think prudence sucks, its just a copycat of jieshuo with some of the CSR eskness to it, including the soundthemes, some of my soundthemes were ported to it, and stuff, but I rarely use it.
speaking of CSR themes what I don't get is if the original author recreates the soundtheme (take my macOS VO theme for instance) and it gets reshared a lot of times, most of the time there is little to no modification to it
Artic, please really try out Backtalk before posting your comments here and saying it is garbage. I tried talkk forward, prudence and even jieshuo or how to spell it, and backtalk is still the best to me. Not the fastest, but the only one where really everything works.
Jieshuo is also fully available in English. You probably tried it a long time ago, but it must have been at least 3 years ago. Because when I switched to Android, it was already fully English.

Valyria screenreader was also another talkback-like SR that had a samsung-like soundscheme by default among other things too, theirs not much info about alicetalker i don't think
I hear that BackTalk is better than TalkBack. Heck, Blazie Technologies got braille terminal support on their BT braille with BackTalk instead of TalkBack. How weird is that?
blazy technologies? Tf is that. A parent company of squeeze arms inc? If yes, what does this brandon guy have to do with backtalk. Anyways, idk. The chinese thing just didn't sute me. I like talkback in how it is, but if backtalking people, ahem the screenreader, is really that good, I could've imagined myself using it if I still had an android. The chinese thing is just a bit too, how to say, over the top. I also don't like the gestures and shouldn't need to spend ages refining everything. In some apps it also had extra swipes on items where talkback had options, and in general I always felt like the thing was hard to get, a new version anyway.
