we are always open for constructive criticissm so if you could elaborate more on why this was all this bad, you are welcome to do so. If xyou don't elaborate how ever we won't be able to help you as we have no idea what you disliked about the ban.

Regarding this being an alt account, my old account was archived and this new account created to unify my usernames across all platforms.

This is defintely not an alt, Chappers is not nearly that articulate.

Thank you for having your say so far. 57% of you believe the ban was either too short or should have been a perminent solution, which stands in contrast to the 8% of you, likely Chappers himself, who believe that it shouldn't have happened at all.
He'll be coming back soon, unfortunately, but rest assured that next time we'll be significantly more bullish against his bad behaviour.

To post 15, basing that off the registration date really is far too short-sighted. For example, you came across Etno perhaps, right? And he is different from me, right? But we just happened to register on the same day. I think it's because he informed me about it, and then, I thought I'd give it a try, and here I am. And since it doesn't show the time, just the date...

Ok. I get why people were suspicious about the sedy thing, i also kind of was so i asked the developer and he confirmed me that these are not the same person.
Hozosch: that comparisons kinda weird, since you weren't banned after all. But as i said, it's cleared now.

My post was just to show that classifying an account as alt or not, purely on the registration date, is not a good idea.

That's a completely different story. I had no idea you and Etno were friends. I know from several sources outside of Elten that
1. Alex and Seedy are either good friends or even the same person,
2. Seedy has a Mastodon instance and Alex is, again, either him, or closely related to it
Maybe it's not an alt, but it's very suspicious that as soon as he gets banned, his friends randomly remember Elten, forget their passwords and register a new account...

Bruh. Alex and seedy are not the same person. Seedy themselves posted in this thread and stated as much. Go back and look at their post. Also, just because they may be good friends, it doesn't mean anything is wrong here. Use some commone sense, please.

Prior to having this account, my username was TwoThousandStu. But I had recently started using seedy60 on Mastodon, Telegram, Discord and others; seedy is a handle I've used since 2019/2020; before that, it was fireseed. Since Elten doesn't allow you to change your username, if I wanted my Elten username to resemble other platforms, my only option was to create a brand new account. It is true that me and Alex are friends; I've known him since 2024. Hope this clears up some of the confusion.
