Here's what Ian at un4seen says regarding the bass issues: The uploaded Opus file appears to be non-standard. The Opus spec states that the audio data must start in a separate "page" from the headers, here:
In your example file, the audio data starts in the same page as the headers. BASSOPUS will be ignoring the audio data in the header page, so that would explain why some sound is missing from the start. Making the encoder start a new page for the audio data should fix the problem. Let me know if it doesn't.
The same "audio data must start in a separate page" requirement also applies to Ogg Vorbis (and I believe all other Ogg-based file formats). If your Ogg Vorbis files currently don't start a new page for the audio, please try changing that and see if it helps with the ARM64 issue.
What still persists though, is the sapi5 bug. The voice names in the list don't match the voice that's actually heard, and it sometimes takes two presses of down arrow to move to the next voice.
Tested. Yes, Opus problem can be fixed by pagination and I will do that, but Vorbis problem is not related to pagination. Tried almost every OGG file I had on my HDD, none of them played. While all work pretty well on Windows-X86, Windows-X64 and OSX-ARM64. Also when started X64 version on ARM64 using emulation it works. So the problem is only with Bass for Windows ARM64 library.

So, I've been thinking about this for quite some time now, as an idea, but I didn't know where to suggest it.
If we can have it that if a forum has unread posts, it would show a sound without having me to go inside the forum and check each unread category for threads.
So, if I'm in, like, looking at the Elton English community, but the English community itself has unread posts, I'd love a sound to be played to show that it has unread posts, instead of having me to go inside and check general discussion, for example, to see if I'll hear the sound or not.
you can follow forums and threads, but doing that in groups you don't moderate is a premium feature. It's part of the courier package and will of course be active when you buy the sponsorship package, since it includes everything.
Hmm, I don't know which sound theme you use, but yeah. Unread topics make a sound, and there is a shortcut to jump to the first unread post, ctrl + u. It's already there for a long time.
I would love it if unread forums would make that sound, too, if you get my concept. -- (thespyde): Unread posts already make a sound, but some sound themes have sounds that are hard or impossible to hear. --
