Agreeing with something does not moralize it. You can agree to something from a personal standpoint but will need to issue warnings because technically and neutrally it's actually against the rules.

GC Announcement:
So figured it'd be fair for people to know since he basically grabbed the biggest megaphone ever and screamed into it on audio pub, elten, telegram and pretty much anything he could reach... Jonathan's ban has changed. The staff team and I have decided that he'll be back in 3 months. We'll do a strike system, where his ban will double each time. 3 times 2 is 6, times 2 is 12, times 2 is 24... you get the gist. This way I'm not just permannetly banning people outright.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but who even knows if this game will be up for that long. I mean for 2 years, based on the anouncement outlined abuv.

so were just banning people for no reason and just because jonathan voiced his concerns... That is just. No, I'm sorry, but even I can say that is too much

Though I wouldn't say for no reason at all, i am not on fully good terms with this ban either. I think this is kind of an edge case.

The policy on the whole is really dumb and no respectable game should have it. If any other dev had done this we wouldn't be hearing the end of it, but Tunmi gets a pass because, idk.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.

So let's better close this thread, shut up, and pretend tunmi is best cause he is.
Lmfaoo we're cooked. Not tryna flex or anything, but seriously yall, get out into real life if possible. This place is seriously crashing down. Whether it's the audio game world or bc in general.
And curious who gets banned next.
See, I don't like everything on sketchbook. But people complaining about it are just ideotic. Because:
1. You come online, either you mute chat or you participate. Either you build, or you don't. You're left in peace if you don't comunicate you want else. And noone's insanity comes close to this shit right here.
2. The maps by now are uninteresting at the least, but tbf most of gc maps are biking or falling or spammy empty maps with no shit in them. The reason sketchbooks map menu is empty is because they know they'll mostly get backlash for creating bs. So gc is your more or less unfiltered space. Most people on gc are people I'd never see on sbyw anyway. Either cloner kids, totaly strange named people, queen this or that, simply fans of his, etc. Tunmi's lil comunity is something else lmao.
3. For me, sbyw is simply a place to retreet to in peace, to be in my own world. I'm not really involved with people at all, other than with maybe 2 or 3 people. I don't even use it as exploration or speed running or chatting place. I just use it to escape sometimes. And somehow this kind of exicution of concept is something another game didn't manage. It's like, if you don't like the staff, literally just stay away and you have no problems. If people on there hate me, even then it has 0 impact on me.
Hail ww yall. Looking forward to that.
And yeah. Last time gc was up, it was for 3 months. With this messy start, it might be halved.

Kind of an edge case? Good idea, just shove every ban you can't justify under a category called "this was an edge case".

btw I asked 3 times ingame (while Tunmi was present) in the chat whether there was any reason and concrete evidence and messages he could present, but I got silence and a bit of vague answers that say nothing.

Acording to tunmi. Here's why.

A lot of it has to do with the constant efforts to criticize without providing legit solutions in the requested fashion. Out of all the tickets currently in Staff Outreach, I have only ever seen 1, or 2 from you. The rest has been on Elten, and the proof is in both the closed Golden Crayon topic, and the PSA topic itself. Your attitude is another thing, and you just expressed it without me needing to go into in-depth detail. There are several people who play the game that criticize it, but they go out of their way to tell me what's wrong, by opening a ticket and describing the issue. And it's addressed ASAP, especially since I read tickets from most recent to earliest. In fact, the only ticket I see here in the list from you is just about the updater, which was fixed ages ago. You can't really justify submitting post after post after post, on two different platforms, as not doing a whole lot, and a lot of those did contain direct targets at me in general. I do not have any problems with freedom of speech. If you hung out with me and my friends, you'd know that our freedom of speech is as unfiltered as it gets. To be honest, you're one of the people I held off on. I had no plans because I figured, ehh he complains about a lot of things, especially on Mastodon. But you slowly started to step over the line. Closer, closer, and closer you approached, and then it reached a point where I just had to do something about it. Am I happy for what I did? No. Do I wish things had worked out differently? Definitely, no doubt about that. But you can't go around, galivanting about how you got banned from a game just for a few, supposedly minor acts.

Weather that was justifiable or not is beyond me, as I'm not even in that position to moderate that spasific comunity. If he was actually targetting tunmi, then I suppose that could make sence as to why he got what he deserved.

I can read on Telegram my friend. This is outdated, besides there have been various tickets he closed and can apparently no longer see then or what? At least I ccan't.

Well, you can read, right? Then I assume you can make yourself an own image if I was targetting him or not. Of course, I am targetting someone specific when they make a post saying you are no longer allowed to criticise their game anywhere and then bans you for comments you make outside that game. What else should I target, the wall? But I feel like I'm starting to repeat myself.

Oh that's right. I remember this exact thing being posted on the other gc topic that was created for some reason.

LOL, from when is this? Got me a good laugh.
Also, Tunmi speaking about how someone else cannot justify something is quite amusing, him himself being the one who cannot really justify a ban with concrete messages.
Without solutions? Do you want Jonathan to give you NVGT code / a Claude prompt?
Yeah, so tl;dr. Jonathan was banned for three months for expressing his opinion of the game to potential players outside of GC itself and not opening tickets. Glad LS doesn't work that way.
Bro at this point stop making yourself a clown and leave moderating to other people. I really have no personnal problem with you and you can be nice to talk to but you're clearly not shaped for moderation.

Also, you should know this is potentially going to happen as the representative person behind a game. And this is nothing against what representatives of bigger games/studios or companys have to hear if they fuck up their game to the unsatesfaction of their playerbase. Though this comparison might not be as good.

149 it's called trying to find a good feith explanation for something that you didn't even do your self or are fully in favour of.
148 I sopose then for example, you and me have completely different play styles so it depends on who you are. When i joined SBYW back in january(or better rejoined) I was first messing arround but later i was basically mostly there for the chats. I just liked the community and found it really cool o interact with most of them, and i made a bit of connections. How ever in the last month or so, SBYW has been evolving into something I personally don't feel so good about anymore (always same topics, stuff often geting heated) also the fact that some users have really strong opiions on some topics and just insult you or lash out when you think in a different way about these. When gc then released i first thought it was completely bad, just look at the launch that was a disaster. But when I was on it a little longer it was just refreshing. Yes there were a lot of people i didn't know, but I for my part don't mind this because I like meeting new people. And yes the chat sometimes is overly random, but in most cases pretty peaceful. And this is why I am currently keeping GC and I believe if no fast shutdown happens, this game could last for a really long while and also keep a community in that time.

Guess that explains the context behind Critter's map then.
