They already have been. https://clarksonlawfirm.com/lp/apple-intelligence-false-advertising/
-- (khalil2009):
you know what's absolutely hilarious about that whole situation? The iPhone 16's were literally marketed for Apple Intelligence, built by Apple Intelligence was literally in the title, but yet my 16 Pro Max will not support all the AI features. I honestly hope to God Apple gets sued for this or something

I honestly was planning to replace my SE 3 with a 16e at some point, but since apparently I I have to waste like $800 more on an iPhone 17 pro just to get the AI siri? ? ? ? ? ? I think saving that much money would take more than a while...

LOL. I bought a 16E last year with the same expectation of Apple Intelligence. They're making themselves more and more of a joke.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.

the 15 pro's not getting all of them I can somewhat sympathize wit not getting all of them because there older, and they never said they were built for Apple Intelligence, but even then

wait, you got to be kitting. so my I phone 16 e wont get the a i seery? that's stupid and dumb. I thought I would be all set with a i features. and this phone is 1 year old.

The 17 series looks absolutely disgusting with half of the phone being thicker. Just make the thing one uniform block and be done with it. At the very least, you could use some of that bar space to get rid of the camera bumps instead of having them stick out even farther.
Off the spinner, to the skinner, it chops off layers, now I'm thinner.

iphones 15 PM and above will get most Siri AI features, the 17 series (excluding the regular 17 andpossibly the Air) will have the new, advanced dictation system with automatic punctuation, and the new expressive voices for Siri. Besides those two features everything will be available for 15 PM and above.
Having tested the new dictation extensively I can say it's amazing and is finally somewhat comparable to other systems.
When you're stuck, just try harder.

So you are telling me I won't get the new fancy voices for Siri but everything else on my iPad? Man you gotta love Apple for all the stupid things they do. Granted, I would have turned off the Siri expressive voice off, but either way not no, but hell no.
And they scream, the worst things in life come free to us.

I personally like 27 so far. Does it have some bugs? Of course. But I think Apple did finally go for stability this year. But knowing them, they'll break it in iOS 28 and/or iOS 29, then come back in iOS 30 or so and patch it up all over again.

probably a stupid reason to downgrade but they absolutely obliterated eloquence and it sounds really stupid, and as far as I know there wasn't a way to fix it

oh god. How bad does it sound?

I've gotten used to it but it's more...idk how to describe it. More dumbish. Also, you can't turn off voiceover with the 3 tripple click thing on the power button. Unless I just have to go turn that back on somewhere. Also voiceover wil sometimes crash but still be on so I have to restart it like twice for it to be fixed.

I think this has happened with almost all updates from 16, voiceover suddenly just crashes for 5 seconds, comes back, and then either reset your voice configuration settings to samantha or go to a previous config... IDK

lol yall sound like there are terible horible issues, makes me convinced to just not update later.
But what about someone of you send a voice recording. I wanna hear what happened to that eloquence. Might as well just be the sound issue people reported for what it's worth.

PS. Is it exactly the same on mac? would be nice if anyone can tell me some experience on that one.

Accept the fact it was slow lol IDK why it did that
Vox tech, trust us.

@34 I mean it is a first beta so it'll obviously be buggy. In my experience, I wait for the 2nd or 3rd major patch before updating, so in this case IOS 27.1 or .2.
All that I survey, I could easily destroy. From time to time, it is important to remind these small creatures of the true extent of my power.

well I never liked eloquence for i o s. have always stood by it for pc, no other voice canbeat eloquence on pc. but on the phone its always been kind ofshit in my opinion. I stuck with samantha compact

Oh, yuck! Samantha was always so much clearer when she was a RealSpeak Solo voice on the PC.

Lol real speak, good old times. Even the german compact ones were really good. Now they're trash.
Well, I didn't hear any wrong with eloquence? Was it how it's inflection got slightly modified with certain punctuation or something?
Lol I knew it, yall make bigger deals about these things than needed.
