Elten 3.0 Beta 11

This beta addressed some of the most serious regressions after migrating to the new API. There are a few more, so beta 12 will be coming soon.

* Blog posts are no longer automatically played,
* Sounds of pinned and closed threads are played correctly,
* Forums are already sorted correctly (the latest ones at the top, just like in Eltenger),

I'm running beta 11, not sure what changes were made. I do see that pinned posts are no longer honored as was the case in beta 10.

Blog posts with audio don't automatically play any more so at least that was fixed.

It would be nicer if we could be given the choize how to sort in more long term imo. Also if you open a thopic in a forum, then return from that forum you are being put on a forum below the one you actually selected in terms of focus.

So apparently signatures are broken now too?
Also, I don't really like how forums sort themselves now.

Please open the tools menu and enter program settings. Under General, tab to update branch and change the combo box to beta and then save your settings. Since the change, Dropbox links are not provided any longer.

I feel like sometimes the users that have liked this message dialog shows up twice when I press the gesture just once. Also, when exiting a thread, it feels like loading times increased.

I don't mind getting used to the way threads are sorted but when I leave one it jumps to somewhere random and I have to find the next unread thread. That part annoys me.

Yeah the new forum sorting is interesting. I thought there was a sort option, I could be wrong lol.

It still is, but sorting is an absolute mess, and it still doesn't buy the lo- Okay, I'm fine with the latest posts, but just have an option to sort by, like, the previous order, from top to bottom, and then set latest first as an option, maybe, so.

You no longer see the status of an user in the posts view, e.g. archived, banned etc.

There is a bug where it sometimes registers one tab press in a topic list as two. Quite annoying.

yep, I've had that bug many times even before the betas

Exporting is broken, it just keeps erroring.

In the messages list, you also cannot load more than 1000 items.

At least if you get the message that a report of yours has been solved, it isn't getting marked as read when you read it.

I keep hearing about Mac changes, but can we actually test them now or are you just writing them for pure logging or something? I have yet to find a thread, or place, with the link to that.
