problem with NVDA screen reader plugin.

Every time we open elten, it asks us to install the NVDA plugin, when we already have it installed. This is because the plugin is no longer compatible, and elten surely does not recognize that we already have it installed. When we want to install it on the reader, it says that it is not compatible, and when we install it anyway, it says that we are installing the same version that we already have.

He never changes the version number and you'll just have to wait till the add-on is updated. I always say no to it till I hear it has been updated.

You perhaps haven't re-enabled the addon when upgrading to NVDA 2026.1, this is why Elten thinks it's not installed when in reality it's just disabled. In Elten 3.0 beta the addon also got updated.

It tells me that it is activated but incompatible. and there have been no updates for months.

set the updates to the beta and install beta 5. I can conferm that it works on 26.1 when I made the portable copy earlier today.

I put it on beta but it still doesn't seem to update me. Unless the beta version can be shared here, I don't see a way to update it.

there is an elten betatesting group in both english and polish, you can also update it under program settings>general>updates branch. arrow until it says beta. and then hit save. when you launch elten it should say update available is in what's new or it'll ask if you want to update

It doesn't work either. Every time I update the program, it closes, but as I said in my other entry about the problem when closing elten, it stays there forever until I close it again, but the update is not carried out.
