Where is the left right now?

I realize the title is vague so I'll get right to the point. In this month alone, Trump has dragged us into an illegal war of choice at the behest of a genocidal rogue state, escalated the conflict to the point that a global energy chrisis and an actual ground invasion to address it become more likely by the day, and explicitly threatened the targetting of civilian infrastructure (which is a war crime) on at least two separate occasions. Where, exactly, is the left wing backlash against all of this? Don't get me wrong, I'm no leftist myself, and I think their critiques of Trump amount to nothing more than hysterical nonsense about 95% of the time. But if this isn't worth firey protests and impeachment trials I don't know what is.

By the title of this topic, I was hoping you will ask, where does the left exist on a political axis, when at this point, people who would consider themselves conservative are heavily distancing themselves from Trump, which is not surprising at all :)
Just some food for thought.

@2, the GOP is losing the midterms for sure, no doubt about it. But I'm talking about the immediate left wing reaction that he usually gets in response to things like ramping up ICE, which he doesn't seem to be getting this time around.

Oh, they went crazy when ICE was doing their thing in Minnesota and other places. That's why they've slacked off, angering his base in doing so.

Right, and I think in that case it was a hysterical overreaction. You know what wouldn't be though? Protesting an actual war.

Oh I fully agree, on both counts.

Seems like the establishment left isn't really interest in the whole anti-war thing, likely in contrast to the populist left.
